Things between Cassie and Harry had gone back to normal, or as normal as could be expected all things considered.

The two had a gift of being able to bounce back, as if nothing happened.
From petty fights in first year, or tragic revelations in third year, they always found away to move past it in a heartbeat.

Although this time, was different.

Harry knew it was different, despite Cassie's countless protests that it wasn't and they were fine.

He saw the way she would flinch if he approached too quickly, and he practically needed his broomstick to cover the distance she was putting between herself and him.

It was a relentless cycle of her only being near him, or anyone for that matter, if she absolutely had to.

But, it was progress.

She was no longer adamant of avoiding everyone at all costs, they now just had to respect the fact that it would be her choice as and when she saw people.

"I'm going out." Cassie said to her dad, almost out the door already.

It was practically music to Sirius' ears. Today, he didn't have to bribe his daughter out of her bedroom.

"Where? To Harry's?" Sirius asked.

"No, Blackpool."

"Remus, get your coat, we're going to Blackpool!" Sirius shouted, scrambling to his feet to find his other sock and shoes.

"Who said anything about you two coming?" Cassie choked.

She was hoping to get drunk with Effie and just forget about everything that had happened for a minute. Her dad and his lap dog were getting in the way of that.
Cassie wasn't sure when it happened, but Remus had practically moved in.
One day he came over, and to her knowledge he hasn't left since.

"Did you really think we'd let you go to Blackpool by yourself?" Remus laughed.

"I've lived there most of my life Moony!" Cassie whined. "What's the worst that could happen?"

"Oh, I don't know? Voldemort's Death Eaters for starters." Sirius scoffed, reappearing after finding his sock. "Youre lucky were not telling Dumbledore about this. He doesn't want you going anywhere at the moment."

"What a fucking surprise." Cassie muttered under her breath.

She half expected Dumbledore to have already locked her up somewhere, ready to set her free only when he needed her.

"What's that supposed to mean? It's for your protection." Remus questioned.

"If it's for my protection, why are you even letting me go now?"

"Because we're your protection." Sirius grinned.

"Somebody start digging the graves then." Cassie smirked, looking between the two.

Her father looked like he was having a mid life crisis, dressed in jeans which were disgustingly tight and his leather jacket which she was sure he bought years ago judging by the look of it.
