Cassie lived her life with one simple rule: there are no rules.
So when Neville had found the perfect spot for their rebellious group, she was over the moon.
Anything that would irk Umbridge delighted her.

It was a surprise to everyone that he had found the Room of Requirement, many had thought the room was merely a myth.

"You've done it Neville. You've found the Room of Requirement!" Hermione beamed as Neville led them to his discovery.

"The what?" Ron asked.

"It's also known as the come and go room."Hermione explained which made Cassie snort loudly.

After giving Cassie a glare, Hermione continued.

"The Room of Requirement only appears when a person has real need of it, and is always equipped for the seekers needs."

"So, let's say you really needed the toilet?" Ron asked.

"Charming Ronald. But yes, that is the general idea." Hermione answered reluctantly.

"It's brilliant! It's like Hogwarts wants us to fight back." Harry said proudly.

The meetings commenced quickly after, everyone was raring to get started.
With the room fully equipped for their needs, they had all the tools to fight back against Umbridge, but their lack of skills were evident. The vast majority couldn't even stupefy someone properly.
Cassie grew frustrated quickly, everyone's incompetence was getting on her nerves.
The only thing that was keeping her there was watching Harry break a sweat.

Cassie was disgusted with herself.
Was she really drooling over Harry Potter, the boy who only winds up hurting her?

Yes, yes she was.

The statue advanced towards Neville, Harry giving him a nod to begin.
He stuttered, most likely questioning what the fuck was he doing fighting against the Ministry's order.
With a shaky arm, he tried to fight the off the statue.

"Expelliarmus!"

It backfired.

His wand flew backwards, everyone ducking to avoid an injury.
Cassie was sat on the floor at the back of the room, already anticipating this.
She quickly muttered a spell, deflecting the fast flying wand over to some deserted space in the room.

"That would've been Colin's fucking eye." Cassie said shaking her head.

This had become her role in the group, picking up the pieces after every spell gone wrong.
There was nothing Harry nor anyone else could teach her, and it'd be undeniably unfair if she were to duel against any of the others as only one would walk back out of the duel alive.

"I'm hopeless." Neville sighed.

"You're just flourishing your wand too much." Harry explained patiently unlike Cassie. "Try it like this, Expelliarmus."

Harrys wand movements were perfect, as always, the statue being disarmed immediately.

Things finished up quickly after that, each member leaving two at a time to avoid any more suspicion from Umbridge or Filch.
