𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙞𝙭𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙬𝙤, 𝙀𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙚 𝙏𝙖𝙮𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙝

Dumbledore came bright and early, bearing good news for Cassie, if she would get out of bed to hear it.

Sirius and James both tried to wake her up, Cassie was having none of it.

"Cant we just throw water on her?" James asked. "It worked on you in fourth year."

"Oh sure, if you want to be hexed until you can't talk or walk." Sirius replied.

Cassie was not a morning person, waking up drenched in water would cause a war.

They had tried everything; whispering, shouting, levitating and shaking but nothing woke her up.

"You sure she's not dead?" James asked, almost completely seriously.

"Nice thought to put in my head considering she's my daughter." Sirius said shaking his head.

Both men were stood, arms folded, not a clue what to do next.

"Dumbledores asking what's taking so long." Remus said as he walked in.

"Unless he wants to talk to her asleep, he'll have to wait." Sirius answered.

Remus joined them both, crossing his arms. They looked like a boyband, and not a very good one.

"Cassie, Dumbledores here about Effie." Remus said quietly.

With that, she woke from her sleep, shot out of bed and through the barricade of men, flew down the stairs and slid into the front room.

"If you two had brains, you'd be dangerous." Remus laughed.

Cassie wasn't thrilled to be seeing Dumbledore, but if it was about Effie she'd cope with his presence.

"So, where's Effie?" she asked, flinging her hair into a bun.

"Give Dumbledore a moment, and he'll explain." McGonagall said from beside the man.

"Minnie! When did you get here! Got any biscuits?" she hadn't even noticed.

"Three quarters of an hour ago, and no. Do I look like I travel with biscuits?" she replied.

"So that's...." Cassie said, trying to work it out.

"45 minutes." Remus answered, him and the rest of the boyband had joined them.

"Why didn't anyone bloody wake me up sooner?"

"We tried." James and Sirius shouted in unison.

"If we could stay on track," Dumbledore spoke. "After an intense conversation with the French Minister, he has very kindly agreed to hand over Effie's care to us for a short while, under two conditions."

"Oh here we go," Cassie laughed. "Always a catch with you."

Everything Dumbledore did was for his own gain.

"Cassie." Minnie warned.

"His request is that, you two are not to leave this house, unless an Order member is with you at all time."
