Breakfast was a miserable affair at Hogwarts.
It had been less than 24 hours since Cedrics death and Harrys claims that Voldemort had returned.

Many were grieving over the loss of Cedric, and many refused to believe Harry.

All they saw was Harry returning victorious, Cedrics lifeless body beside him.
They saw nothing in the graveyard.

None of them had to witness Cedric being murdered in cold blood or see Voldemort's re-birth.
None of them had to go through the agonizing pain Harry did.
They didn't have to battle Voldemort or stand infront of a group of Deatheaters who wanted them dead.

They could never comprehend what truly happened that night.

Hermione and Ron were sat at the Gryffindor table for breakfast, Harry was ordered by Dumbledore to stay in the Hospital wing, most likely so no one asked him too many questions.

The two could feel everyone's eyes on them, aswell as eyes scattering the room for who was missing.

Harry and Cassie.

Ron and Hermione tried to continue on with breakfast as normally as possible, but normality from now on would be impossible.

Ron was biting into his third piece of toast when Susan Bones came over to the two.

"I was just wondering if either of you know where Cassie is?" she asked softly. "There's some things in Cedrics dorm he would've wanted her to have."

"Oh, erm." Hermione said looking over to Ron who shook his head. "Sorry, we don't know. Im sure she's around here somewhere." Hermione smiled, though it dropped quickly.

"If you see her, could you tell her i'm looking for her." Susan asked.

"Of course." Hermione said confidently, but on the inside she was panicking.

She hadn't seen Cassie in the dorm when she returned in the early hours of the morning. To her recollection, the last time her or anyone else had saw Cassie was after the altercation with her father and when Effie and Cassie fled the hospital wing.

Hermione scanned the Great Hall for any sign of Effie.
There was none.

Obviously that was a given as Cassie and Effie were currently on a muggle train to London, but no one needed to know that.

"Have you seen Cassie?" Hermione asked Ron in a hushed whisper.

"No why?" He shrugged.

"She wasn't in the dorm, and Effies not here either." Hermione said worriedly.

Cassie had always been unpredictable, especially after something had upset or angered her.

"She's probably getting drunk somewhere." Ron said quietly.

He hated to admit that, as she was like a little sister to him, but he knew her too well.

Ron wasn't wrong.
Cassie and Effie were getting drunk, somewhere.

Oxford Street in London to
be precise.
