The Gryffindors and Slytherins were meant to be having double Potions in the dungeons and most of them were, but Cassie was still tangled in the covers on her bed fast asleep. Hermione had tried to drag the girl out of bed earlier that morning, but failed miserably. Cassie had promised Hermione that's she'd wake up in 'five minutes' and join them in Potions, but it was an empty promise as she had no intentions on joining that dungeon bat whatsoever. It was an obvious fact that Snape hated Cassie just as much as she hated him. Snape hated her because she was Sirius' child and he claimed she was far too much like him and she hated him because he enjoyed picking on little children for fun.
Defense Against the Dark Arts had started 5 minutes ago by the time Cassie finally decided to wake up. She thought it'd be best to go to this lesson seeing as it was the first one of the year and Hermione was definitely going to lecture her about missing Potions and she didn't want to be in anymore trouble with her as it is because Hermione could be quite scary sometimes. She pulled her skirt on, making sure to roll it up a few inches so it looked more of a mini skirt than the traditional 'knee length' skirt. Messily, she tucked in her white blouse leaving the top button undone as she thought it was 'too tight' with all of the buttons done up. Her Gryffindor tie hung loosely around her neck as once again, apparently wearing her tie properly wad too 'suffocating'. Her hair fell down to her lower back with ease, not having to spend much time styling it just a quick brush through. The way she wore her uniform was unique, as it had this imperfectly perfect look to it that only she was able to pull off. Finally, she put her socks and shoes on before grabbing her wand and left the Gryffindor without her bag as she couldn't be bothered to carry it.
She carefully made her way through the corridors and to the classroom without being seen by a teacher thankfully. She slipped into the classroom unnoticed - or so she thought - and quickly joined Harry at the back who gave her a small smile as he was relieved to finally see her.
"Would anyone like to venture a guess as to what's inside?" Professor Lupin asked the class who were all staring at the shaking wardrobe in front of them. "Ah, Miss Black, how very nice of you too finally join us." he added as he had heard her come in moments ago.
"Shit" she muttered under her breath as she could've sworn she was quiet enough for no one to hear. Harry smirked at her misfortune and elbowed her in the side giving her the "knew it wouldn't work" look.
Lupin had watched that interaction and couldn't help but notice the similarities to Lily and James. He also noticed how similar she was to Sirius. They shared the same eyes, hair colour and undeniably the same personality. He observed how similar Harry was to James as he swore they could've been twins if it weren't for the eyes.
"That's a boggart that is." said Dean.
"Very good Mr Thomas." the Professor congratulated.
