When Cassie woke up later that morning, everything hit her.
Now sober, she could properly comprehend everything that had happened.

The lies, the betrayal and the memories.

Part of her would be lying if she said she completely hated being back. As much as she despised Sirius and the others right now, she needed a break from everything.
All summer she had pretended she was okay, filling Cedrics death with drugs and alcohol, but ignoring it wasn't making it any better.

She was dreading having to leave Regulus' room. It was dusty and deserted, yet it brought comfort to her.
The rest of the house was loud and chaotic. Doors swinging open then closing swiftly as Order members passed.
Cass could distinctively hear the twins downstairs, clearly up to no good judging by the noise.

After last nights revelations, Cassie wasn't sure if there was any of her friends here who weren't lying to her.
There was Tonks who didn't know about Sirius' innocence until recently, but with her being an member of the Order it was unlikely she'd be around all day.
Cassie wondered if the twins and Ginny knew when Harry, Ron and Hermione did back in third year.
If they did, Cassie being stuck in one house with the six of them would be a terrible idea.

Cassie took another look around Regulus' room now the sunlight was shining through the window.
The Slytherin colours of emerald and silver were everywhere, draping the bed, the walls and the windows. The Black family crest was painstakingly painted over the bed, along with its motto Toujours Pur.

Cassie had always hated that motto.

There was an old Slytherin Quidditch team photograph on the wall, Cassie could see Regulus immediately.

His aristocratic cheekbones screamed Black family and the resemblance to Sirius was evident.

It hadn't occurred to her until now that Effie had the bag full of money and clothes whilst she had the bag full of alcohol and cigarettes.

As important as those two things were, clothes were also a necessity which she was lacking.

Stuck in the clothes from the night before, Cassie decided to finally head downstairs.

Making it down the stairs was suppose to be the easy part, until she discovered her Grandmothers portrait.

The old woman stood in the portrait behind the moth eaten curtains, gawking at the sight of Cassie. Even after all these years Walburga recognized Sirius' child.

"Joined the Mudbloods have you?" Walburga spat.

"Didn't exactly walk here freely." Cassie snapped back.

"Don't you dare talk to me like that!" The portrait screamed. "Lose that attitude and stand up straight!"

Many people had heard the outburst and had ran quickly to see what was happening.
Soon, the majority of people were watching the scene unfold.

"Oh will you just fuck off." Cassie said in annoyance.

Even as a young child, Walburga was constantly barking orders at her; telling her that whatever she did wasn't good enough.
As terrifying as Walburga was when Cassie was 3, now she was stuck behind a gold frame she posed little threat to her.
