Another week and a half went by and Izumaru kept texting you without knowing it was you. You never responded but, you did read everything he wrote learning so much about the last five years you missed of their life. You learned that their Uncle was caught having got into a big brawl with a civilian- the civilian was you but your identity was left anonymous-  as well as pro heroes getting caught and telling the truth thinks to a truth quirk. Also, now your mother was on the run having moved to leave everything behind. Thankfully the house was paid for and under Izumaru's name so they still had a house to go to. It scared you that they didn't know where she was. You had told Ruska and Aizawa feeling they were the most trustworthy and would be the most logical about it. They listened like the beautiful souls they were and said it was entirely up to you. Aizawa had warned the others about your mother on the run and for you and your children to never be out of trusting adults' sight. That's when Ruska suggested visiting Shiketsu discreetly to see if you saw Lisvette and Michael. Surprisingly Aizawa agreed to help you so, that's how the two of you were on Shiketsu grounds in a secluded-ish area with no cameras. He knew someone who worked here - an old classmate- who had allowed him in only if you pretended to be his girlfriend. After some bullshit lies later and a tour of the school with you discreetly looking in the classrooms the two of you now sat on a bench overlooking the entrance/exit of the school. You both were a far away distance to not be recognized but you still wore a hood with a mask tucking your tail as best you can. Aizawa wore a black cat mask with his hair in a bun to match.

"If you shake any harder the bench is going to break and we both going to be on the ground." You stopped your fidgeting immediately.

"I'm so nervous, there's a 50/50 chance that I'll see them or I won't. I just want to see them so neither of us has wasted an entire day you know? Cause you got better things to do." He stood quiet as you rambled on. He leaned back into the bench pulling you sideways into him. Confused as to why he was being touchy but, to avoid unwanted attention you leaned casually on his shoulder.

"Whether we see them or not it will not be a waste of a day. You deserve closure and answers. It doesn't matter how we get them since technically we aren't breaking any laws." He had a point. With a new resolve, you took a breath leaning more comfortably on him starting up a light conversation. The two of you talked a few before you saw students start leaving. That's when you both straightened up a bit but remained casual.

"They have the same quirk as me, we all look like reptiles and lizards, Lisvette dyes her hair and it's currently burgundy and Michael has his split half black and half white." He hummed keeping his eyes honed on the students. You couldn't help but smile at the bubbly first years not surprised but, slightly disappointed to not see Lisvette. That's when the second years came out and you didn't see Michael either. However, when the third years were coming out that's when you saw them. You felt yourself gasp and sit straight up watching them without blinking. They looked different but, the same. Michael definitely had their dad's build from width to height and facial structure, Lisvette looked more like their mother, still built but shorter. You felt tears well up in your eyes having to choke down a sob "That's really them." You were staring hard enough that they seemed to notice. They both turned their head to look in your direction suspiciously. Shit. You averted your eyes turning to Aizawa to try to make it seem like you weren't staring. You looked back over to see they kept walking occasionally looking back at the two of you.

"That could have ended badly." You breathed properly once they had breached the gates.

"Who the hell you telling." After getting your heart rate back down the two of you stayed for a few more minutes before getting up to leave. "That should be enough time for us to get out without them noticing. I don't care about everyone else it's those two." You had let your tail unfurl hovering a bit above the ground. It was the shortest you can make it anyway.
