You felt like you were floating in mid-air. You were here but, not there? It didn't quite make a lot of sense to you. You didn't know where you were. It was inky black and you couldn't tell where the floor was, where anything was really. You were able to look around and you heard voices but, they were far away and warbled as if you were underwater. Is that where you were? Where were you before you got here? You turned a few more times in circles stopping when you saw a light up ahead. It wasn't far so you set your eyes on that light. You were running in slow motion but, you kept pushing as the light got brighter. In one final leap, you threw yourself into the light blinded.

"When do you think she is going to wake up?" Who was that, that was talking?

"I'm not sure, her brain activity shows she should have woken up yesterday but, that clearly didn't happen." Yesterday, you were supposed to wake up? When did you even go to sleep? What was that beeping in your ear?

"...Who's watching the kids?" Kids? What's wrong with your babies? Aren't they supposed to be in school?

"Rei and Inko live together now so they're watching them." Since when did Rei and Inko move in together? You were not aware of this. How much did you miss? You must have made a noise cause the chatter stopped and, you think you felt something move.

"Y/N sweetheart." You felt a hand run through your hair. You leaned into it. "Just open your eyes for me yeah?" You did as instructed and slowly opened your eyes. The first thing you noticed was that you were once again in a hospital. No surprise there. Then the person who was rubbing your head was Nemuri. You blared up at her blinking a bit before turning to see Ryo and Mokuteki (Snipe) sitting on the other side. You blinked some more to clear your vision. You had IVs and other stuff hooked to you, bandaged up, and an oxygen mask on. You went to move your arm but Nem beat you to it. "I guess you don't need it anymore." She moved it gently and kept petting your hair.

"I'll go get the doctor." Moku got up leaving you and Ryo alone.

"How do you always manage to get into the hospital? I swear they know you by full name." He had a point. You honestly did go to doctors a lot. Being hospitalized due to injuries not caused by you was at an all-time high in the last year. You were tired of it. So tired. You just wanted it all to end. You just wanted to go home and take care of your babies, repair your broken and fragile relationship with your siblings and dad, and never see your uncle and mother again. Clearly, something like that existed in a perfect world.

"We weren't sure what happened but, uh, Hawk's dad sort of told us-" Your head shot up when she said that. She looked at you surprised. "You don't remember?" You blinked looking at the wall trying to raddle your brain. Your children were on a trip, the rapist called threatening, Shinyo- oh shit. "Hey, hey, it's okay, it's okay. They are okay. Your children are safe with Rei and Inko while everything is going on, okay? Your Un-rapist is in custody and being questioned and all of that okay?" Nem and Ryo crowded you a bit in worry. When you focused on your hearing that's when you heard the heart monitor going crazy.

"What did you guys do?" They both moved to make room for the doctor and the two nurses that crowded you this time.

"She remembered everything that happened and she started freaking out" As if anyone in your predicament could be calm. As if anyone that lived your life could be calm. As if anyone who survived the shit you were put through AND STILL GOING THROUGH- could be fucking sane. You remained silent and unmoving as they fussed over you making sure you were okay.
