I walked into the studio to see my best friend, Parker, excitedly spinning around in his chair.

"Y/n, I've got something to tell you," Parker exclaimed, "And it's huge."

"What is it, " I asked.

"I got a call earlier from an actor saying they needed to use the studio, " Parker replied, "And now a certain celebrity is heading on his way to record some lines for a movie."

"You should've told me someone else is using the booth today, " I sighed, "Why didn't you text me and tell me that I needed to reschedule?"

"It was his request, " Parker admitted, "For you to stay, I mean. He has some singing that he has to record for the movie, but he's not a singer. He asked if I knew anyone that would be willing to help him with his vocals, so I told him I knew the perfect person. Thank me later."

"Why did you do that," I wailed, "I don't know people, I don't like people, I'm not a vocal coach, and I need a drink."

I grabbed a bottle of water out of his mini-fridge.

"Water bottles are 3 dollars per bottle, " Parker proclaimed.

"Shove it," I growled at him, "That's why I'm taking a snack too."

I grabbed a popsicle from the fridge. It was the last one in the box. SCORE. I crashed onto the leather couch as I watched Parker mess around with some equipment and played on my phone. A few minutes passed when a familiar male voice filled the room.

"Hey, so you're Parker, " the voice asked with a nervous tone.

Parker stood up from his chair and began to boast, "Yep, that's me. The man, the myth, the legend, the..."

"Shut the fuck up, " I interrupted him, "You're none of those."

"Ignore her- she drinks, " Parker chuckles.

"H20, hoe, " I yelled as I threw my water bottle at him.

"Y/n, stop, " Parker shouted back.

"Just trying to ease the awkward tension, " I admitted, "Cause whoever just walked in sounded nervous."

"Why don't you get up and greet our guest so he won't be nervous, " Parker insisted.

"Hello, guest, " I said as I stood up from the couch.

I looked up from my phone to see Evan Peters standing in the doorway. My mouth fell open.

"I guess I won't have to introduce myself, " Evan chuckled, "Wait a minute- you're Y/n. Y/n L/n."

My mouth opened wider.

"You know me, " I asked in disbelief.

"Hell yeah, I know you, " Evan responded, "I listen to your music."

"Don't gas her up, " Parker begged, "I will never hear the end of it."

"I'm a big fan, " Evan chuckled.

I stood there speechless.

"Bitch, you're famous now, " Parker yelled, "That means I'm famous too. Let me order a Tesla."

Parker began typing on his laptop- breaking me out of my starstruck trance.

"You know you can't afford a Telsa, " I said to Parker.

"Then buy me one or shut up, " Parker exclaimed, "Buy me one too, Evan."

"Ignore him- he's just Parker, " I said to Evan, "I've been told that you need help with a song."

"It's for a child's animation that I'm filming, " Evan explained.

"He's getting those Disney checks again, " Parker said, "I respect it. Remember when he was on Phil of the Future when we were little, and you said Evan was cute..."

"Parker, shut up, " I yelled.

Evan chuckled, "No, I think he should finish."

"The children. Focus on the children and their sing-a-longs, " I tried to change the subject, "Let's talk about it in the booth."

Evan and I entered the booth and he handed me his script.

"We're gonna start with vocal exercises, " I told him, "Repeat after me."

Evan nodded. We began singing our vocal exercises- and I have to admit he did better than I expected. It was obvious he had been practicing.

"You did great, Evan, " I praised.

"I thought I sounded like shit, " Evan chuckled.

"You exceeded my expectations, " I laughed, "Just remember to sing from your diaphragm. Now, before we sing the song in this script, I think we should practice with another song."

"No problem, " Evan nodded, "What song do you have in mind?"

"I'll start it off, just sing along when you catch on, " I smiled.

I started singing You Have Ears and tried not to laugh as I watched his mouth drop.

"Nope, wait you still remember that song, " Evan laughed, "I made that when I was like 15."

"And you could've given Justin Bieber a run for his money, " I joked.

"Oh, so you think I could have sung Baby, huh, " Evan rolled his eyes.

"I would've stolen my dad's credit card to buy multiple copies, " I guaranteed him.

Parker's voice randomly boomed through a speaker causing me and Evan to jump.

"Could y'all stop flirting in my booth, " Parker said, "Y'all aren't about to make love in this club."

"We aren't flirting. We are showing appreciation for each other's creativity, " I yelled at him.

"Well show each other your appreciation in other ways and not in my booth, " Parker shouted, "Not about to remind me that I'm single in my studio."

"You know what he's right, " Evan agreed, "We should show our appreciation in other ways. How about we go to dinner afterward?"

"I would love that," I accepted his proposal, "Now let's get back to work before Parker's head explodes."
