Sleep was unknown to me after doing a horror movie binge the previous night. My mother tried to warn me not to watch every Friday the 13th beforehand, but she raised a rebel, and now the jacket hanging on my doorknob looked like a person whenever my lamp was off. Fear prevented me from getting any rest. My body was exhausted. To make matters worse, it crossed my mind that there would be an exam in English today. English was not challenging for me, but that was when my brain could remember my name. My thought process was stuck on the loading screen. It would take a miracle for me to pass or a person.

The boy who sat next to me was one of the smartest in our school. Some would say he was a nerd, but it depended on what kind of nerd; he didn't shove Pokemon trading cards in our faces, but he was different with his grades. Seth would finish his quizzes before anyone else and spend the rest of his time reading, mocking everyone with a lower intellect. He never picked on anyone and said, 'Ha. Ha. I'm smarter than you,' but we could feel it. He was a sweetheart, though. So sweet, he'd maybe give me the answers.

Our teacher was too busy playing Sodoku at his desk to notice me flag the curly-haired boy down. Seth's desk was beside mine in the back of the class, so it wouldn't be easy for our teacher to hear us. After borderline attacking the boy by plucking him, Seth turned to me and whispered.

"Do you need something, Y/n?" Seth questioned.

"I need a huge favor only you could do for me." I declared.

He looked surprised as he shut his book and looked around the classroom. The puzzles still distracted our teacher, and the tests still bamboozled the other students. Seth leaned closer to ensure no one else could hear him.

"Oh! I'm flattered, Y/n. I truly am, but I would like to keep my virginity if that's fine by you." Seth informed. "I figured you've always liked me, but I hope you understand."

Seth was an attractive guy, but his head was so far up his ass sometimes. It came with the intelligence. Most guys who had wit associated it with attractiveness, which is why most dorks think too highly of themselves and become women-hating incels. On the other hand, Seth was cute and intelligent- a positive on top of a positive. No one could be mad at him for feeling that way.

"Not that type of favor, you geek." I scorned. "I need to borrow your test paper."

"Oh. Well, that makes sense." Seth stated. "My mother says I'm too much for the ladies, anyway."

"That's one way to put it." I mocked. "Can you help me?"

"Well, Y/n. I'd love to, but that's cheating. That's against my principles." he proclaimed.

"But assuming that I'm trying to take your purity, isn't?" I questioned. "Please, Seth. If you do this for me, I'll help you with anything- just not anything that involves your innocence."

"Does that include dressing up nice and meeting me at my house later tonight?" He questioned.

"Where is this going?" I questioned.

"Not in the gutter where your head is." He declared. "The school talent show is in a couple of days. But my assistant backed on me so I need another one. A much more lovely one."

"Who was your last assistant?" I asked.

"Phil. And trust me, he did not look good in that dress." Seth gagged. "If you agree, I'll let you borrow this test and many more whenever you need."

The deal was solid. It would be idiotic to pass up such an opportunity. All I'd have to do is spend a couple of nights in a red dress and act shocked whenever he pulled something out of his hat.

"If you saw me in half, you better be able to put me back together!" I asserted.
