Imagine: After being dragged into the coven, you run into a familiar face.
My hands were tied behind my back, but I continued to try to struggle out of whatever kept my hands bonded together. Rope, maybe? I couldn't tell since my eyes were covered with what I assumed to be a bandana of some kind. All that I could see was black.
"I don't know who you are, but you might as well let me out before I get out myself," I growled at whoever was in the room as I continued to struggle I could easily escape but with escaping would come consequences. Consequences that I don't want to live with."Get yourself out then," an older female voice taunted me, "We both know you can." I could hear footsteps backing away from me.
"I mean if she could, don't you think she would've by now," another female voice complained, she sounded younger than the other.
"Madison," the older woman called out to who I assumed was the younger lady, "Just give her time. You'll see."
"I agree with Mads on this one," said a third voice that sounded young, "She's not doing anything to prove she's one of us. If we let her go she'll tell."
"Finally," Madison shouted, "Someone understands. See Zoe gets it, we have to get rid of her." I could feel my chest beating rapidly. They weren't going to try and kill me, were they? They couldn't kill me, could they? I had no idea and I wasn't going to sit there to find out. I took a deep breath.
"A fire started from of nowhere," a male's voice yelled. His voice sounded almost familiar like I'd heard it before.
"What," the older woman gasped," What do you mean out of nowhere?"
"I mean it appeared in the middle of the foyer out of thin air," the man's voice began to crack, "It's spreading quickly. This place has insurance right?"
The door slammed and locked itself behind him. The feeling of heat scorned my skin as it burned the rope off, but I don't think the others noticed seeming as if I was able to take off my blindfold without them being alarmed.
"It's probably Marie," the older lady sighed, "I owe her a few bucks."
"Or it's the captive bitch that was tied up but somehow she's not anymore," a blonde girl with a cigarette pointed out as she shook her head. All attention was brought back to me.
"Y'all ain't gone kill me now, right," I gulped.
"I told you she was a witch," the older woman smiled.
"Y/n," the blonde male gasped, he looked so familiar as if I'd met him before. As if I'd seen him my whole life- that's because I had.
"Kyle," I began to cry as the door behind him swung wide open, "they told me you died." He opened his arms and I ran into him and pulled him into an embrace.
*In the SpongeBob narrator's voice" A few hours later...
"So how long have you two known each other," questioned the young blonde woman, who I've established to be named Madison.
"Kindergarten," Kyle and I both laughed. "He tried to take my fruit cup so I bit him," I giggled.
"She's gotta be a chaos witch," said Queenie, the human voodoo doll.
"Or just borderline erratic," the brunette named Zoe chimed in as she rolled her eyes.
"No, she's not erratic," Kyle stated, "She was just a force to be reckoned with." He smiled at me. "You know I always knew there was something magical about you," he said as he grabbed my hand and held it in his, "Especially after Heather Smith's parked car suddenly rolled back into moving traffic after she called me off-brand Jesse McCartney."
"Hey, at least I made sure she wasn't in the car," I chuckled at him as a tear began to fall down my cheek. His smiling face turned into a worried one as he began to comfort me.
"What's wrong," Kyle said as he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me into his chest. I could feel his hand rubbing up and down my back.
"I thought you were gone," I sniffled into his shirt, "I thought I'd lost you again. First, we went off to different colleges. Then I get a call from your mother telling me that you died. I thought she killed you."
The girls raised an eyebrow. I guess he never told them about his mother's fucked up lifestyle.
"I did die," Kyle squeeze me tighter, "Just not because of her, I got my revenge though so we never have to worry about her again."
"Oh and yeah, sorry for-uh- kinda murdering your boyfriend," Madison interrupted our moment, "his friends are kind of pussies."
"They died by one too," Queenie snickered as she bit into a potato chip and looked at Zoe.
"Shut up guys," Zoe scoffed, "I don't wanna be reminded of that shit." She walked over and grabbed some liquor bottles out of the cabinet and looked at Madison. Madison just nodded her head and grabbed the other bottle from Zoe's hand.
"Hello girls," shouted the older woman called Cordelia as she walked in a curly-haired blonde woman dressed like Stevie Nicks, "I- why so gloom in here?" She skimmed around the room.
"Life," Queenie said, "But hey, at least I'm not the only black girl in the coven anymore." (If you aren't, just ignore this part, but ya girl gotta represent for a bit.) She held out her hand to me and I gave her a high five.
Cordelia walked around the room and examined us all before speaking again. "I hope you all know that another witch means more competition. One of you girls is the supreme, although not all of the witches are in this room...I have a feeling that the supreme is." The other girls all looked at each other and then at me.
"So when y'all say Supreme, do you mean Taco Supreme 'cause I'm starving?"
