"Wassup, Winter, " I greeted the white-haired woman as I entered the front door.

"Y/n, " Winter screech, "What are you doing here? I thought you were at college?"

"I was until I realized college fucking sucks," I sighed, "No offense. I know you like to partake in such academic activities."

"Oh, none was taken. College sucks," She laughed, "So how long are you staying in Michigan for?"

"Until I go back to college next week," I smiled at her, "So how's your mama and dad? Matter of fact are they home? I missed Ma Julie's homemade apple pie. I thought about it every second."

I rushed towards the stairwell and hollered up the steps.

"Ma Julie, Guess who's visiting, " I yelled, "I'll give you a hint. I'm like your daughter that didn't come out of you."

I waited a while for a response but didn't get any. That's odd, whenever I came to visit Ma Julie always rushed down the stairs with open arms and an oven mitt ready to bake a pie. I turned to Winter, who had the look of distress flashed across her face.

"Where's Ma Julie, " I asked worriedly.

"Her and dad went to some military convention thing, " she lied through her teeth, "Military Vets, am I right?"

"Right, " I answered.

I didn't believe the shit that came out of her mouth. I knew when she was lying. I know when everyone is lying. It's a little talent that I call being bullshit illiterate, but I didn't want to pry on it. I was more curious about the presence in the room that hadn't shown themselves. The feeling of eyes stared at the back of my head. Someone was watching me, even though I couldn't see them.

"Where's Rudy, " I folded my arms.

"He lives in his own house now, " she shrugged, "He's finally a licensed therapist, and he's quite good. We don't see him around that much."

She was telling the truth. If it wasn't Ma Julie, Mr. Scott, or Rudy...there could only be one person. A smirk appeared on my face as I planned out my next move on pissing him off.

"What about the other one, " I tilted my head, "You know the bootleg, Charles Manson? Cranky, always yelling, and stupid. Basement Dweller. Gollum. Jackass."

Winter raised an eyebrow, "Do you mean my other brother?"

"Yeah, yeah, " I smiled, "Isn't his name Kyle or something like that? Kevin? Kyrie?"

"Kai, " I was taken aback by the sexy voice that walked up from behind me, "Welcome Home, Slut."

Bingo. I got him. Kai had always been my childhood crush. Which was kind of weird since he was my best friend's older brother, but face it, he was hot.

"Glad to be back in my whorehouse, " I winked at him, "Now what's with the hair, Coraline? You look like the chick from Scott Pilgrim, that or you're obsessed with Halsey."

The glare that man gave me was heinous. I liked it, as I always did. Kai, on the other hand, hated it. He hated me; I was the only person who knew how to get under his skin and Kai couldn't fathom it. Kai scoffed as he rolled his eyes and looked at Winter.

"How long is the bitch staying, " He asked her.

"Oh, vulgar, I like it, " I batted my eyes at him.

"For one, don't call her a bitch, " Winter shook her head, "You know you love her, and two, for a week."

"'You're right, I love her and when you leave I'm going to fuck the shit out of her in your bed, " Kai stared at her blankly, "You see how stupid you sound, I despise the bitch. Tell her to leave right now."
