I wouldn't blame Cordelia if she abandoned the coven to fend for herself. Life had kicked her ass. She'd found out her husband was a cheating witch hunter, lost her vision all in one month, and the only support she had from a group of young girls who wouldn't sit down if you cast a spell on them. Her mother was here, but Fiona's old ass nitpicked cause the sun was too bright for her liking. If Cordelia wanted to leave, I'd pay for her plane ticket. I didn't have the money to, but I was sure Madison left cash in her room before disappearing.

Cordelia had requested we all meet in the foyer to be lectured because of Madison and Zoe's stupidity. Queenie, Zoe, Nan, and I stood in line as Cordelia paced back and forth. I found the lecture stupid because if anyone should be in trouble, it should've been anyone else, but me, as I wasn't the one who snuck a man into the coven and hid him in my room for days. I was the one who found the man in Zoe's room and wanted to help him, therefore I kept him in my room for days for his protection. Nothing more, nothing less. You do good and what do you earn?

Fiona stood by the doorway with our coven's newest member, Misty, and the man who created this drama. Once a man entered this coven and learned our secrets, we'd have to wipe their memories. Fiona knew we cared for Kyle, so she decided he could keep his memories of us, but he would now work as our new servant since our old one, Spalding, disappeared some time ago. I didn't know how or where he went, nor did I care because he creeped me out; he once gave me a piece of paper that noted, 'You would make a pretty doll.' The mute psycho was another reason I requested a lock on my door.

Fiona's spell and ritual worked wonders for Kyle. He could speak normally and even spell again. I didn't even have to bathe him anymore, which I should've continued because he uses Irish Spring now instead of Dove. I know his skin is crying. However, Kyle wasn't around me as much as I'd wanted. Sometimes I felt like he was avoiding me. Zoe got her 'boyfriend' back, or so it seemed. I still didn't know their relationship, nor did I care. I was happy he was fine now, but I missed playing Go Fish and watching reruns of The Backyardigans with him. Queenie wouldn't watch it with me because she thinks a show with a character named 'Uniqua' is stupid; the irony.

"Words cannot describe how disappointed I am with you girls right now, especially you two," Cordelia expressed.

Cordelia shifted glances between Zoe and me. I'd arrived a few months before Zoe, so we were the coven's newest additions. In our time here, we'd already raised more hell than Satan at Sunday Service. I'd made mistakes, but I'd learned my lesson. You never know what this house would make you do. I might do something dumber in an hour. There's a weird aura in the air. Or maybe the magic. I would go with the magic.

"Do you two have anything you want to say?" Cordelia questioned.

"I do. I shouldn't have any fault with this. This is all Zoe's fault," I exclaimed. "None of this would've happened if she got a living boyfriend!"

Cordelia stopped and gave me the most blank stare I'd ever received. I side-eyed Queenie as I could hear her laughing under her breath.

"That's your response." Cordelia sneered.

"Yes, and I'm sticking to it. Punish Zoe. Burn her stake. Do something." I suggested.

"What the fuck? I was trying to help him," she argued. "And he wasn't my boyfriend- yet."

"So you admit you were grooming the undead? What the fuck?" I called out.

"I did not say that," Zoe countered.

"That's what it sounded like," Queenie agreed.

"No, it doesn't. Nan, back me up," Zoe said.

"Do not involve me in anything else regarding this situation, Zoe," Nan asserted. "I shouldn't even be here right now. I did nothing wrong."
