ORANGE-YELLOW LIGHTNING FILLED THE AIR AS HIMARI shot off the ground towards the Female Titan. She was steaming, as a result of the regeneration she was doing from the attacks Oluo, Petra and Eld had managed to land on her before she'd killed them. The blonde titan had risen to her feet and was staring impassively at Himari, her eyes narrowed dangerously.
Himari could see the way she was eyeing the pale blue tint that shimmered like encrusted jewels on her pale skin. Had Himari been in her right mind, she would have realised that the look in the Female Titan's eyes was not one of disdain, but nervousness, instead.
"Nicely done. You almost had me for a second there," Himari called out as she sped around the Female Titan's head, her blades outstretched in her hands.
"But you're gonna have to try harder than that if you want to kill me."
She went for the back of the neck first. Himari rose her blades above her head as she caught sight of the odd, blue patch surrounding the titan's weak point that caused her to grit her teeth. Deep into the battle headspace she'd dropped into, Himari did not notice that the blue sheen was the same one lingering on her own skin.
That must have been what Oluo's blades had broken on, she thought. Rather than attempting to cut through it, Himari retracted her wires and began to free fall towards the ground. She plunged her swords into the tough, muscly flesh of the Titan's back and dragged them down with her. The skin split open and began to steam as fountains of blood began to spurt from the lacerations on her back. Himari ignored the hot scarlet that painted her face.
With a yell, she yanked the swords from the titan's back just as she reached the titan's lower back. Shooting her hooks out, Himari sunk them into the exposed calves of the titan, flipping her body backwards before she used the momentum to shoot back up into the air, towards the titan's arms. They were still steaming from Petra, Eld and Oluo's attacks, though the skin had stitched itself together once more. Her arms hung limply at her sides, however, and Himari was quick to realise that while the outside may have looked good as new, the muscle and sinew inside was still healing.
The Female Titan jerked her body out of the way just as Himari went to slash her swords across the right shoulder, causing her to miss. Himari's lips curled into an amused snarl, having expected her to move. She pressed down on the triggers of her ODM gear, allowing her metal hooks to sink themselves into the skin of the Female Titan's shoulder.
Himari sped towards her so quickly the titan didn't have time to react, allowing her to slash her blades against the skin of the titan's arms. She continued swinging her body around, circling over the back of the neck before attacking the other shoulder from behind. She retracted her hooks, dropping down towards the floor just as the Female Titan turned, snapping her jaw around thin air in the spot where Himari had been just a second earlier
