Y/N POV

Waking up, I sat up, sniffling my now blocked nose. Rubbing my eyes, I looked around my surroundings, frowning when I saw that I was in my room. Last time I checked, I was downstairs, waiting for my soulmates to arrive. Soobin-oppa had called once more saying that he was going to come over and drop something off, but I had told him that I might be napping, so I gave him the passcode to my condo, not that he didn't know it before.

I shifted out of my bed, walking to my closest and choosing a fresh set of clothes, knowing that I probably looked like a mess right now. I slouched my way to my ensuite, turning on the light and, my memory recalling my memory-dream.

It was the day Eomma, Appa and Oppa died, and it was the day that this very nice lady, Mrs Jeon, took me to the police, where she stayed with me until I was safe and sound. I was taken into a foster house, where I lived for three years, before a family came in and took me in. The Manobans. They treated me as their daughter, and there, I met someone who treated me as their little sister: Lisa. She's been there for me, as a sister, as a friend. Her parents knew what I went through at only in the age of 7 years old, and Lisa made it her life long promise to always be my sister and friend. So far, she has been true to that promise.

I looked at myself in the mirror; my eyes red and puffy, my nose pink, my hair ruffled and looking like a rats' nest. Sighing, I turned around, closing the door and turned back around the mirror. My heart skipped a beat. She was there.

Her black hair, her insane looking brown eyes, her maniac smile. She was there. She was behind me. My heart accelerate and I whipped my head back around, seeing no one there. I looked back at the mirror, and I calmed down once I saw it was only me in the bathroom. No one else.

" Twelve years and she's finally coming back to haunt me. And I've found my soulmates... it's even worse. They're gonna be in danger. And I don't even know why Imo wants me dead," I whispered to myself.

Yes you do, I said in my head. You're Eomma's and Appa's only living child. A constant reminder for her that Appa never loved her as a lover, but as a friend. A constant reminder that you are no longer her favourite niece, but rather, an enemy.

I sighed once more. I wish things were different.

" You're already here?!" I exclaimed as I stepped down from the last flight of stairs, seeing my seven soulmates all busy in the kitchen

" You're already here?!" I exclaimed as I stepped down from the last flight of stairs, seeing my seven soulmates all busy in the kitchen. I had stepped out from my bedroom to smell the lovely aromatic of Korean BBQ, home made. Rushing down the stairs, thinking there was an intruder, my heart warmed at the sight of the kitchen table made and food laid out, with pork sizzling gently on the stove.

Chim-oppa and Tae-oppa turned around when they heard my voice, beaming gently and making their way to me. Tae-oppa wrapped his arms around me, raising me off the ground and twirling me around. " Hey, jagiya."

I giggled. " Hi, oppa."

He let me down, which allowed Chim-oppa to barrel into us, giving us a group hug. I looked up to see Koo-oppa coming over as well, giving us a bunny smile before wrapping his arms around us as well.

" I want in this too!" I heard Hoba-oppa happily say, and we all grunted as another pair of arms came and joined us. We heard numerous feet thudding across the floor and I knew the other three had come over and joined us. I found myself feeling confused at their sudden need for a group hug.

" Is... everything okay?" I asked. Chim-oppa looked down at me, smiling softly. He placed a soft kiss on my forehead, tightening is grip on me as the others stepped away from us.

" Everything's okay, cupcake. Now come on, let's sit down and eat. We have a lot to talk about," he said, leading me to the dining table and making me sit on a chair. I furrowed my eyebrows at him, seeing the others move in a flurry of motion as they walked around, bringing more food on the table.

" We do?" I asked. Koo came and sat on my right, Joonie sitting on my left, while Jinnie sat on the right hand side of Joonie. Tae sat opposite me, Chim sat on opposite Joonie, Hoba sat opposite Jinnie and Yooonie sat opposite Koo.

" We do. Now, before we talk, let's fill that tummy of yours with food!" Jinnie-oppa exclaims, grabbing my plate and immediately filling it with various food from the table.

" But... I'm not that hungry, oppa. You don't need to put a lot of food on my plate," I mumbled, looking at how high the food was piling in my plate. Koo nudged me gently, shaking his head.

Leaning over, he whispered, " If you say that, hyung will only put even more food on your plate."

My eyes widened and looked back at my plate which was now in front of me. Sure enough, it was now a pile higher than it was before. Gulping, I glanced at the others, who were trying their best not to laugh at my expression. I looked up at Jinnie, who was giving me a stern look, not caring how the others were at that moment.

" Go on, beautiful. Eat," Jinnie says, raising his eyebrows at me. Sighing gently, I grabbed my chopsticks.

" Okay, Oppa."

Eating slowly, I watched at Jinnie-oppa served the others before serving himself. He finally sat down after scolding Joonie beside me when he nearly nocked down the plate of kimchi. I stifled my giggle at the sight of Joonie-oppa; face red and a bashful smile on his face.

There was light conversations here and there, but there was a nagging at the back of my head. Of course. It was her.

Sighing inwardly, I continued eating, increasing my pace gently. Opposite me, Tae-oppa scrunched his face in worry, and reached over, halting me on my next bite. Looking at him, I nocked my head to the side.

" Something's wrong, jagiya... can you tell us what it is?" he blurts. My eyes widened and I dropped my chopsticks on my plate.

" Wha-what do- you mean?" I asked. I had to admit, I didn't sound very innocent with the way that my voice was quivering. The conversations around the table immediately died, and I could feel everyone's eyes on me.

" Something is wrong, Y/N. We know there is."

It wasn't a question anymore. It was a statement. From Joonie. And I found myself trying to curl into a ball on the chair, making myself smaller than I already was. I refused to burden them with my problems, and I refused to burden them with worry. I let out a soft sigh once more.

" Nothing's wrong, oppa. Everything is just peachy," I said softly, looking up at them and placing a fake smile on my face. They all glanced at one another, shaking their heads gently.

" Yeobo.... we're here for you... you know that?" Hoba-oppa says gently. I nodded frantically, trying to seem alright.

" Ne! Ne, I know that-" I said, but Koo cut me off none too gently.

" Then you'll tell us if something is wrong, right? Sooner rather than later?"

I looked at him, gulping down the bile taste in my mouth.

" Of course."
