the eight of us

" Button? Wake up, hyungs will be back soon," I head Koo say gently. I opened my eyes, sitting up as I looked around. I was in his room and I noticed that he changed me into more comfortable clothes. I smiled up at him, giving him a peck on the cheek before swinging my legs over the side of his bed and standing up. I winced, forgetting about the state I was in and he immediately came to my side, arms wrapped around me protectively.

" Sorry," I said as I saw the pointed look he sent me, eyebrows furrowed and nose scrunched up as he frowns. " I'll be careful."

He nods and changes his expression to a more softer one. Downstairs, I head the front door opening and several footsteps running down the hallway and into the living room. I heard slightly raised voices and I looked at Koo, who gave me a nervous smile.

" What's the matter with them?" I asked, confused. 

" Well, Jin-hyung said that he needed an urgent meeting with us downstairs. And so, naturally, hyungs would rush in and get all worried," he mumbles. I rolled my eyes and we walked towards the door. " Hyung also said to me that we should try and be quiet. We hid any evidence that you're here. We want them to be fully surprised."

" We have to go to the hospital! Y/N might be awake!" I heard Yoonie's voice say with hysteria and paranoia, voice cracking. My heart broke at the thought that he didn't know I was already awake, but I knew the reaction would be so worth it. 

Koo and I made our way downstairs as we heard more raised voices, and it was nearing the fact that they sounded that they were going to be storming out of this house when Koo and I walked in. Instantly, all of their eyes went down on Koo and I, and the tension in the air instantly vanished. 

I looked at the five pieces of my heart, the five pieces that weren't there this morning and I felt my soul begin to heal instantly. I walked out of Koo's arms gently to go stand in front of the five of them. They looked at me. With shock. And then with happiness. Extreme happiness as they all stepped towards me. 

" Y/N?" Chim says, eyes tearing up and I held out my arms. Like Hoba, he was still in his dance clothes and his hair was slightly sticking to his sweaty forehead, but my Chim never looked so angelic and beautiful. He lets out a soft sob and he swoops me into a hug, careful of my upper body as he arms wound themselves around my waist. 

" Hi, Chim," I said, placing a soft kiss on his hair. He lets me down and his hands holds both of my cheeks. He leans down, placing a kiss on my lips which I instantly responded. He tasted sweet and like home. He leans back and he rests his forehead on mine. 

" You're home."

I nodded. " I'm home. Surprise."

I was taken out of his embrace and I found myself locked lips with none other than my Hoba. His kiss was desperate, longing, loving. He poured everything that he wanted to say into the kiss. I miss you, I love you, you're home, you're safe. 

He leans away and he gives me a bright smile. I noticed small tears running down his face and I reached up, brushing them away as I coo at him. " Hey, hey, it's okay. I'm here, I'm right here. It's okay."

" I've missed you, sunshine."

" I've missed you, my angel."

I looked around and saw my cuddle bear, his tearing up as well as the others as he opens his arms for me to step in. I smiled tearily and walked into his arms, inhaling his aromatic smell as I looked up at his brown eyes. Taetae gives me a boxy smile as tears went down his face once more. 

I leaned up, placing my lips on his while I brushed the tears off his beautiful face. He tightened his grip around my waist and licks my lips, asking for permission. I granted it and his tongue slowly caressing mine. Giving me another peck, he leans away, running his fingers through my hair. " You're home."
