Y/N POV
Work finally finished. Soobin-oppa had given me a ride home, as per usual. During the ride to my condo, I couldn't help but notice my Carolina Allspice and Spirea tingling like crazy, sending sparks around my body. I found myself checking the group chat, but it seems as though they were all busy as well, since no one had said anything except for the traditional, 'good morning and take care at work, babies!' from Jinnie-oppa.
" There you are," Soobin-oppa says, parking up my drive way. Smiling at him, I unbuckled myself and grabbed my bag. Before I could open the door, Soobin-oppa's hand came down on my arm, halting me. I looked at him with a confused gleam in my eyes. " Take care, alright?"
I gave him a soft smile. " Always, oppa. Now, I'm going to go and you should go as well! Rosé-unnie will be worried if you don't arrive home in time for dinner."
" You're right. Right, alright well, see you Wednesday, dongsaeng. Enjoy your day off tomorrow," he said, letting go of me. I nodded, and opened the door of the car. It was pouring down with rain and not to mention the cold winter air was freezing.
I ran carefully to my doorstep and waved my hand, not bothering to turn around but instead inserted my thumb print and opened the door, shivering as I stepped in my condo.
Looking around, it was the same as I left it this morning. Duh. Taking off my shoes, I walked into the kitchen, turning on the kettle for a much-needed cup of hot chocolate to warm me up. Once more, I felt tingles from my Carolina Allspice and Spirea, making me wonder what on Earth was up with Tae-oppa and Chim-oppa that was making them so jittery and excited.
I grabbed my phone from my pocket, debating with myself whether to contact them or not, when the door bell rang. Frowning, I placed my phone back in my pocket and walked to my front door. Checking who it was in the eye hole, the frown on my face turned upside down as I opened the door to two of my soulmates.
Tae-oppa and Chim-oppa stood there, both standing with flower bouquets in their hands. I ushered them in, seeing the way they were slightly shivering.
" Oppas! Come in, you must be so cold!" I exclaimed, closing the door behind them. They showed me their heart-warming smiles and I internally cooed at them. Tae-oppa's hair was slightly ruffled when he took off his beanie and he gave me his boxy smile.
" Hi, jagiya. How was work?" he asked, swooping down and giving me a kiss on the cheek. I blushed as he held out the flowers in his arms. " This is for you."
" Hey! I wanted to give mine first! Hello, cupcake!" Chim-oppa says, gently pushing Tae-oppa out of the way and handing his bouquet first. I laughed at their child-ness, shaking my head.
" Annyeong, Chimmie. Annyeong, Tae. Come, I've just boiled hot water for hot chocolate. And work was alright, Tae-ssi. Thank you," I said, leading them to the kitchen. Tae and Chim sat down, the other flower bouquet on the kitchen bench.
Flurrying around the kitchen, I grabbed two vases for the flowers I received from the two, putting them in the vase and adding water, hoping that these beautiful artworks will survive despite the cold atmosphere outside. Inside my condo, the heating was always on, so I hope that it was going to be fine.
" How was work, oppas? Nobody was talking in the group chat, so I assumed it was busy?" I asked, finishing putting the flowers in their respective vases and now handling in making hot chocolate.
" It was. My classes were all full and my students seemed to be more enthusiastic than before. Although some of the students were quite weary about the prisoner that was released today from prison. After 11 years, actually," Chim-oppa says. My heart fell, but I continued with the facade I was carrying out.
