A notification came up on everyone's screen and we all looked at our phones, seeing a message from our baby soulmate. My heart accelerated in a pace that wasn't considered made because of love and adoration, but instead, my heart accelerated from worry and confusion.

Get ready when I get home. I want to take you all somewhere.

I instantly knew something was up. Y/N didn't use her usual string of emojis and worse, she used actual grammar. She used upper case, full stops, full sentences. I looked at our soulmates, seeing them all frown down on their screens as well. I knew that they knew something was up. 

" We should get ready then. We don't want to keep her waiting if she comes home soon," I piped up gently, telling my little babies to go and get changed. Luckily for us older ones, we were already changed, because that's how we are. Always ready. Always changed. 

I found myself latching on our eldest soulmate. Jin-hyung looks downs at me, resting his forehead on mine. I felt a string of worry and confusion bloom in our soulmate bond, and I knew that Y/N could feel it as well. 

" Do you think something is wrong?" I mumbled. Jin-hyung shakes his head. 

" I don't think so. I hope not," he mumbles as well. I hummed, looking up at as the rest of our soulmates came in. Only Y/N wasn't here. Yet. 

" I'm hungry," Kook-ah announces, walking over to the pantry and grabbing his favourite snack. He gives us a small bunny smile as he sits down on the lap of Joon-ah. Joon-ah leans around him in a protective curl of his body. We knew that that's how our bodies cuddled with each other: in a protective stance, wanting to make sure that the soulmate in our arms was going to be safe if there were something to happen.

The action of him grabbing his favourite snack urged everyone to grab their snacks as well, munching on them as we waited to Y/N to come home. We didn't have to wait long, when we heard a vehicle come up our driveway. We heard a car door opening and a small honk before the vehicle drove away. 

We heard the front door open and we all but rushed down the hallway, seeing our youngest and baby soulmate come inside with a small soft smile on her face. She looks up, her eyes twinkling as she waits for us to come to her. I was the first to reach her and she immediately snuggles into my arms, inhaling my scent like she always does. I smiled, loving the way that that one was one of her favourite things to do. 

She gives me a small kiss on my neck and I felt myself shiver, as I placed my own kiss on the crook of her sweet neck. 

" You guys ready?" she asked, stepping back from my embrace and going around to everyone and giving them kisses and hugs. I remember the first time that she placed her lips on mine: it was the day that we all coddled her with her new plushies. It took me by surprise at her first, but once I regained my focus, I found myself pulling her closer and inhaling the sweet vanilla and twinges of berries and caramel of her. 

We all nodded as we grabbed our shoes and pulled them in. She grabbed the keys, swinging it around her finger as she opens the door and walks to the car. I noticed that she was glancing around nervously and she was biting her lip quite a lot, fiddling with her thumbs at times too. 

I glanced over my shoulder as I followed her to our car and noticed the others staring at her as well. They noticed too. 

Climbing into the car, we buckled in. I was at the middle seat as Jin-hyung sat at the front. Y/N was the driver today, as she inserted the key and turns on the engine. She looks behind and checks that everyone was buckled in before she buckles in as well. Putting the car in reverse, she pushes the handbrake down and starts to drive out of our driveway.
