going home

The door opens and in came Jisoo-unnie, eyes wide and brimming with tears as her arms were full of my clothes. I crinkled my nose up at the sight of my old clothes in her arms, but it disappeared once I saw a fresh set of clothes that was also in her arms. No doubt that it was her clothes. 

She scrambled to me, spluttering as she threw the clothes on the foot of my bed and wrapped me in a tight hug. 

" Unnie!" I squealed, feeling the air squeeze out of me as she gave me squeezes. 

" God, you're finally awake.. oh my God, is this a dream?" she says, holding me at arm's length. I smiled at her, shaking my head and wrapping my arms around her once more. 

" Ani, unnie. I'm awake. Really. See?" I gave her a pinch on her arm and she winces, wiggling out of my embrace and giving me a pout as she wipes the tears away from her eyes. She gave me a chuckle, leaning over and getting the clothes, handing them to me. 

" These are Rosé's. I don't know if you heard Soobin-ssi and her come in earlier today, and she brought some clothes since Jennie-ssi and I keep on forgetting to bring some for you," she said, smiling at me sheepishly. Something in my mind clicked, as I remembered the small whispers of Soobin-oppa and Rosé-unnie this morning before my soulmates came here. 

Jisoo-unnie looked around the room, smiling at my soulmates, before they fell down on Joonwoo-oppa. She frowns, looking at me then at my older brother then back to me. " Do I know you? Does she know you? Who are you?"

" Whoa, unnie! Calm down," I said, giving her a giggle. She looked at me with a confused stare. I only just realised that she had no idea that my brother, that Mia supposedly killed, was alive and well. " Unnie, meet Joonwoo-oppa. My older brother."

Jisoo-unnie's expression was priceless as she looked at my brother and then to me like she was watching a tennis match. She became a blabbering mess, saying sentences between 'I'm sorry' and ' I didn't know' and 'Nice to meet you' and back to 'I'm sorry'.

I giggled, throwing the covers away from me and placing my legs on one side, putting my feet down to the cold tiled floor. I hissed at the contact and immediately, Jinnie-oppa and Koo-opp were by my side. They each offered me an arm each on both of my sides, Jinnie on my left side and Koo on my right side. Helping me stand up, I got used to the feeling of using my legs once more after so long. 

" Careful," Koo whispers gently as we took small steps forward towards my bathroom. I nodded, face scrunched up in concentration as I walked forward. 

" Do you want help, Y/N?" Jisoo-unnie asked, rushing over to me, face relieved to have been distracted from Joonwoo-oppa. I shook my head. 

" I'm okay with my soulmates, unnie. Go and have a chat with my brother. Get to know each other," I said teasingly, but I winced once more as the unfamiliarity of using my limbs came rushing to me. Jisoo-unnie glared at me playfully as she walked back to oppa, sighing. 

My soulmates and I entered the bathroom, the lights flickering on with the motion sensors. Closing the door behind us gently, I started to take off the hospital gown, when my soulmates stopped me. 

" We'll do it."

Their expressions told me not to rebut, so I didn't, letting my arms fall down to my sides as they untied the sides of the gown. Koo gently raises my arms up and Jinnie takes the dress off over my head. My heart melted as I noticed that they weren't looking at my bare nakedness, allowing my privacy. Koo grabs the underwear and I placed them on. Jinnie went around to my back and clasped my bra on. 

After that, they helped me get into the hoodie and sweatpants that Rosé-unnie have so graciously offered me. Once I was done, I looked around for a hair brush and tie, as I looked at my skeleton-figure face and my rats' hair nest. I quickly spotted on and on impulse, moved too quickly to grab it, but my knees buckled, and I cursed as I fell down. I fell strong arms wrap themselves around my waist securely, pulling me up with the softest of touches.
