Love or hate?

-James Pov-

She's gone,I can't believe she's actually gone

Sirius sat still next to me as we stared out at the lake

Silent,cold and sad,our eyes were red and we held the same expression on our faces...confusion

How did this all happen within the span of three days?

How is this even possible?

I stared down at the ground,letting the emptiness consume me

"Remus is here" I jump suddenly,along with Sirius

I turn and see my mother,giving us both a small smile

"Thanks mum" I mumble and stand,wiping of my pants

Sirius looks up at me,his eyes glistened over and I help him up

"Thanks" he mumbles and I nod back as we walk inside,my mum leading us in

As we walk into the kitchen mum tells me she's going on a walk with my father but I know she only did it because she didn't wanna be in the way so she and my father left

Remus was leaning his head against the wall,tears rolling down his face and he bit his bottom lip to stop himself from crying

"Moony" Sirius whispered and in an instant they were in eachothers arms

"Hey James...how are you?" Remus asks as he lets go from the hug with Sirius and looks at me

"I'm doing swell Remus,absolutely jolly"

Remus and Sirius looked down and I shook my head

"I'm sorry..." I sigh before turning and walking up to my room

-Sirius Pov-

"Stupid question" Remus sighs and I place my hand on his shoulder

Remus looks up at me,his eyes saddened and he pulls me in for another hug

"I'm so sorry Sirius" he whispers as I feel my eyes well up again "I'm so so sorry"

There was another knock on the door and I pulled away,wiping the tear from my cheek away before answering the door

"Peter?" I ask at the blonde boy who looks sadly at me and wraps his arms around me tightly "what are you doing here?"

"I heard what happened" he says,patting my back "I'm sorry for your loss"

-James Pov-

I stared at the photo of me and her lying beneath the big tree at Hogwarts,smiling at eachother

Her hand on my cheek and my eyes on her beautiful face

I know I didn't deserve her,I didn't deserve her love,or her forgiveness or her attention

But no matter what she always seemed to make me feel as if I was worth it for her,and I guess finding out we were soulmates helped a lot

I get up from my bed,remembering the box that Narcissa gave to me yesterday

I walk over to my desk,picking it up and unravelling the box and I teared up once I saw what it was

It was her ring,the ring she always wore and never took of

It resembled of some form of writing,a different language I guess

It was pure gold to,no way this thing was fake

And it reminded me of her,the way she used to fiddle with it on her finger when she was nervous or the way she used to twirl it around her fingers when she was bored

"I love you" I whisper,taking a deep breath in to stop myself from crying "I always will"

-Your Pov-

I was trapped inside a dark hollow small room

And I knew this place well when me regulus and Sirius used to play hide from the hag (our mother)

It was the room under the stairs...all I remember is waking up and being in total pain

Hearing my mother and Aunty talk then I was knocked out again,probably the pain taking over my body

And now here I am,stuck under the stairs....what a life to live

It's cozy I guess...if you consider your back being in pain 24/7 then you'd be fine

I mean seriously when does this happen in life,you wake up and suddenly everyone thinks your dead

In all seriousness,I have to get out of here

From what I can remember the door doesn't have a lock,

So I might as well just..open the door?

I open the door and obviously it was unlocked,I peeked around and luckily no one was there so I snuck out looking around the basement for a bit

But when I heard footsteps I quickly ran back into the closet and closed the door quietly but quickly

It seemed to be my mother,searching for something and after she left I sat back down on the ground

How did I get out of here without being seen?
