Burnt faces

Dumebledore begin to explain why we were there,but I already knew so I wondered of as quietly and quickly as possible,trying to tip toe upstairs

I walk to my room and sigh quietly,opening the door and seeing the room full of my stuff,but all my drawers were open and my stuff had been pulled out of it

Clothes of mine had been ripped and burnt and I smirk as I think to how happy I was leaving this place

I walk to the floorboard in my room and crack it open,smiling as I see a bunch of notes from Reggie and Sirius

When we wanted to communicate but we weren't aloud to talk to eachother I would always be in the kitchen and they would always leave little notes in this secret floorboard

'Reading this means you've come back here...why? I will never know,you and Sirius couldn't have been better siblings,you taught me all my good qualities (and some bad) and now because of you I know how to stop the dark lord from succeeding,

P.S,tell indego I couldn't adore her more,look to the bottom of the floorboard and there will be three gifts,one for you,Sirius and Indego,I love you all

I furrow my eyebrows in sadness as I realise this was a brand new note,they hadn't left this house long ago

I reach my hand to the bottom and sure enough I pull a small box out,unwrapping it and seeing two objects

A ring,the initials R+I carved in the band making me smile

A four ring chain thing,that I know Sirius would adore

I reach further down and pull out one last medium box,with 'because you've always been and always will be,a queen' written on the box

And as I open the box my jaw drops,it was a smaller tiara,one you would wear at a wedding and I couldn't get over how pretty it was

I place the tiara back in its box and place the floorboard back into its place,putting the gifts onto my bed and standing up,looking around my room one last time before taking a deep breath and walking to Regulus'

The door was wide open and the room looked the exact same,no clothes had been taken,nothing had
actually

I see the pictures on his wall and the coats in his closet and the boots of his on the floor making me smile

I walk over to the messy clothes on his bed and begin to fold them,placing them in a pile before picking the pile up and setting it on his dresser

I then walk over to his bed and sit down on it,looking at the boarded up window and frowning

Mother and father must of put this in after I ran away,stopping him from doing it too

I felt tired,I felt sad

I felt guilt

I just felt nothing,but everything

"Milk?" A voice says,starling me and I turn,seeing McGonagall there and I smile

"Hi Minnie"

"Hello my dear" she smiles as she walks into the room,two glasses of milk following through the air behind her

One flys to me and I grab it,taking a sip as she uses her magic to summon a chair to sit on

"How's life?" I ask and she smiles

"A little less chaotic now that you and the boys are gone" she says and I laugh lightly "more quiet though" she admits and I smirk

"I knew you'd miss us,you have a soft spot for us"

"I'll never admit what's not true" she says,jokingly and I laugh "I saw that you snuck away from Dumbledores speech" she says and I nod

"I got alittle adventurous"

"In a house you've lived in since you were born?" She asks and I shrug

"You'll be surprised what you can find in a place you've lived your whole life"

"What a wise saying" she says "I might reuse that" she says and I chuckle

"Did you know my brother well?" I ask and she raises her eyebrows

"I knew Sirius quite well,but Regulus...I taught him although he always sat at the back and didn't say anything"

"Sounds like Reggie" i chuckle taking another sip of my drink

"What profession are you think of going about?" She asks and I shrug

"I'm not sure,I wouldn't mind working as an Auror" I admit,placing the mug on the cabinet beside regulus' bed

"That would be a nice job" she nods and I smile

"What did you want to be when you were younger?"

"Everything" she smiles "I wanted to be a teacher the most though"

"Interesting-"

"-Minerva,we have to go!" I hear dumbeldore call out downstairs and she sighs

"Well that's me,see you soon dear" she says and I nod

"Bye Minnie!" I call out and she only rolls her eyes playfully.

She walks out of the room and downstairs and I stand up,going out of the room and towards the back stairs which lead me to the wall

I run my hand along the ugly fabric and stop at my...or what used to be my face which was now a burnt spot

I smile,happy I was no longer associated with this stupid family

I was finally free,and now,I find Regulus and set him free too
