"So...it's your birthday soon" James whispers to me and I groan,trying not to punch him for his earlier stunt where he woke me up early for nothing
"No james,not for another two months"
"That's pretty soon to me..." he says and I try to listen to Mcgonagall explain something that made no sense "what do you want for your birthday?"
"I want to sleep in and not be pranked is what I want" I say and James places his hand on my thigh,I would hit it of but instead I kept it there,liking the warmth
"That's easy love...but what else do you want?like presents wise"
"I don't want anything..I just want a good day"
"It's 1978 babe,I'm pretty sure no ones going to let you get away with having a 'good day',there was to be a massive party involved and-"
"-Mr potter" McGonagall says and James gulps
"Yes dear?" He answers back and the whole class laughs
"Would you like to see me after class Mr Potter?" McGonagall asks and James shakes his head no "Then I highly suggest you do not interrupt my class again" she says and James puts a thumbs up making me roll my eyes,trying to hide my smile "I do need to see you after class though Ms Black"
"Am I in trouble?" I ask and she raises her eyebrows
"You'll find out after class"
For the rest of the lesson me and James sat,his hand holding mine under the table
And finally when it was time for our next class everyone but me left
"Come join me up here dear" McGonagall says,calling me up the front near her and just by her small smile I could tell I wasn't in trouble
I sit down at the other side of her desk and she slides over a badge
'Head girl' written on it
"Oh" I smile
"Your duty starts tonight,you and Mr Lupin will be protrolling the students of Hogwarts,you will also be instructing the perfects what to do,as they will be the new leaders of this school next year" McGonagall says "do you think your ready for the job?"
"I'm pretty sure" I smile at her and she hands me the badge
"You are now head girl of Gryffindor,please don't mess around in your duty"
"Oh I would never!" I say sarcastically,standing up and walking towards the door "bye professor"
"Bye Ms Black" McGonagall says and I turn to face her,waving and walking backwards out the door
As soon as the doors close James comes from behind the wall and picks me up.me being carried on his shoulder
"Put me down Potter!" I yell,hitting his back which only makes him laugh more as he carries to the empty hallway
He places me down and I hit him in the chest
"We have to get to class!" I yell
"Not for another five minutes love" he says
"Five minutes?that's how long it takes me to get from here to my next class,I gotta go"
"But the hallways empty...just the two of us" he says smirking and I roll my eyes
"Keep it in your pants....fine one kiss" I roll my eyes playfully and he smirks,gently pushing me up against the wall,his hands go to my waist and mine wrapping around his neck
"I'm so in love with you"
"Good" I smirk as his lips lock with mine,I kiss back,the both of us enjoying the kiss,but I knew that this kiss couldn't go any further or we'd be taking much more then five minutes
After another few seconds I pull away,leaning up and kissing his cheek
"I'll see you at the great hall" I say,walking away and smacking his butt which he smirks as "what? Your butts the bomb" I wink
"No your butts the bomb" he says back,winking and I shake my head,beginning to jog to class
I couldn't help but keep a smile on my face as I make my way to my way to muggle studies
-one hour later- -Remu's POV-
"You know chicken is actually the superior meat" James who was sitting next to me says and Indego,Yn and ally all scoff
"It's one hundred percent not" Yn says and I roll my eyes playfully as they all continue to argue
Sirius was sitting across from me,staring plainly at his plate and casually eating his food
I wasn't used to this Sirius,usually he was dancing on the tables and bouncing of the walls,but he seemed like he was just being chill today...and I didn't like it
He looked so good though
He was wearing his usual uniform but his sleeves were pulled up and his tie was instead wrapped around his right arm
His hair was messy and his eyes were the same brown they always were,just the way I liked them
"Hey rem,I was wondering if you could help me with this potions thing I have next Thursday" he suddenly says,looking up from his food and his eyes meeting mine
I don't look away,and neither does he,but as soon as we both begin to smile we quickly look away from eachother and I clear my throat
"Not a problem,when do you wanna study?"
"Tomorrow afternoon? But not in the library or common room their way to crowded" he says and I nod in agreement
"See you then"
"See you then" he says as I stand up,grabbing my books and quickly walking of Before I said or did something stupid
