Very short story, you know I'm a sucker for that domestic shit
-

Kurapika set down the last box, and slumped onto the couch next to his husband. They were both breathing heavily from the exertion of hauling everything out of the moving trailer.

"I'm. So thirsty." Kurapika huffed between breaths.

Leorio handed him a bottle, then wiped sweat off his face with his sleeve. "Geez. I do not miss moving. I didn't even know we had all this junk."

"It's not junk." Kurapika said after drinking from the bottle. "It's mostly furniture and lamps... and books... and clothes."

"Nice. You mean, everything that normal people move with?" Leorio cocked an eyebrow.

Kurapika pushed him playfully. "Oh, shut it."

Leorio laughed, and Kurapika smiled at the sound. He slowly shook his head, and placed a hand on his husbands chest. He leaned in and pressed his lips against Leorio's, stealing the laugh from him.

Leorio brought a hand up to hold Kurapika in place. The blond always had a nasty habit of pulling away too soon. Which he tried to do this time, but Leorio just deepened the kiss and held the small man close.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Leorio let go. Kurapika was left gasping for air. He had never really learned how to breathe properly during kisses, which was probably one of the reasons why his were always short and sweet.

Kurapika climbed onto Leorio's lap and rested his head on the older man's shoulder. They both cuddled close, listening to the sounds of a new and empty house.

A house. All to ourselves. Kurapika thought. We can decorate it however we would like. We can stay up as late as we want to. We could even put our furniture in weird and inconvenient places; no one is going to tell us otherwise! We are free.

"We should start getting things set up." Leorio kissed the top of his head, but made no effort to move.

"I know." Kurapika replied, snuggling his nose into the crook of Leorio's neck. "Soon."

"Soon."

They lied. Both men fell asleep less than a minute later. Most people would find Leorio's snoring to be offensive and obnoxious, but the steady inhale and exhale rhythm was a perfect lullaby to Kurapika. They both slept soundly while time turned and the sun set outside the window of their new home.
