Hey uhhhh My Hero Academia au?? Kurapika has a quirk exactly like Todoroki except he can only use fire when his eyes turn red (like in HxH he can use all six men types when his eyes are red eheh). Leorio has the ability to know any person's ailment just by hearing their heartbeat.

Kurapika slipped on the ice again, and couldn't recover before slamming head first into the concrete wall. He smacked his head pretty good, and had to lay there for a second to recover enough to speak.

His teacher heard the impact and came running. "Kurapika, are you alright?"

He didn't answer for a moment, just curled in the fetal position and crying angry tears. I'm still not making any progress. My ice is useless if I'm not immune to the cold and I slip on my own creation. Fuck. My head hurts. I want everyone to be quiet. Don't touch me.

Someone had picked him up and he was being hurried to the nurses office. He squeezed his eyes shut to stop the sensory overload, but everything was too loud, too bright, too much. God, can I just be shot?

There was some talking, some more moving, then he was set on a soft bed. He tightened his grip on the sides of his head, trying to make the headache go away by himself.

A hand, like a candle in the dark, brought light to his mind. The pain ebbed away the longer the hand laid gently on his head. Kurapika lowered his hands, relaxed his shoulders, and laid back on the bed. He breathed in relief. When he opened his eyes, he was looking at a young nurse in training. The nurse had big hazel eyes and tan skin. Oh no, he's handsome.

"Kurapika?" The nurse asked. "Can you hear me alright?"

Kurapika nodded. The room was dim and warm, the blinds closed to the late Autumn sun. His dirty gym uniform was a stark contrast to the clean white sheets of the bed beneath him.

"My name is Leorio, I'm here to take care of you until Recovery Girl arrives." Leorio put his stethoscope in his ears and held the cold metal ring to Kurapika's chest. "What happened out there?"

"Training. I... I keep slipping on the ice." Kurapika admitted.

"Someone in your class has an ice quirk?" Leorio asked, moving the stethoscope to a clearer place.

"I do." Kurapika sighed in defeat. "But it's no good if I can't control it."

"What do you mean?"

"Usually someone with an ice quirk is immune to the cold, and can control it enough to where they aren't slipping, right? I can't. I can't use my own quirk because I'm sensitive to the cold. I can't run or even walk without falling. I've tried everything. It's just no use. This is the third time in as many days that I've been in here for a concussion from slipping on my own goddamn ice." Kurapika turned his face away, trying to control his emotions so he wouldn't cry in front of a stranger. "I shouldn't have come to this school. I'm wasting someone else's opportunity for greatness."

Leorio nodded. "I'm sorry you feel that way."

Kurapika looked up at him. "That's all you have to say?"

Leorio blinked. "What else do you want? I'm not a therapist."

"I guess you're right." Kurapika huffed. "Sorry. For dumping everything on you."

"It's okay, I'm supposed to make sure you keep talking, you've got a pretty bad concussion."

"Ah, shit."

Leorio put his stethoscope down finally, picking up a clipboard instead and writing some things down. "Lungs and heart sound good, though. Blood pressure is a bit low but it's not surprising with how small you are."
