{Blood warning}

Leorio slid his handkerchief across the blade, wiping away the blood that soaked it. Kurapika stared up at him in horror.

"I'm going to give you one last chance to change your mind." Leorio threatened.

"No, no no no!" Kurapika struggled against his bindings, scrambling to push himself away from the crazed doctor. "Leorio, this isn't you!"

"Tell me where the book is, Kurapika." He knelt to look Kurapika in the eyes. "Don't make me cut the truth out of you."

Kurapika squirmed, still trying to escape. "No! Leorio please! Don't do this!"

Leorio brought the knife up and tapped the side against Kurapika's cheek. The touch made the smaller man freeze. He was afraid.

"Don't make me hurt you." Leorio gently traced the sharp weapon along Kurapika's jawline, then the curve of his shoulder and the side on his arm. "You know I don't want to."

Kurapika was shaking. "I'm not going to tell you anything."

"Are you trying to test my resolve? Because I assure you I'm not bluffing." Leorio grabbed one of Kurapika's hands and wrapped it around the blade. "Tell me where the book is."

Kurapika's eyes were wide as he stared at the blade gripped tightly in his hand. Leorio's hand was so much bigger than his, enveloping it and crushing it against the knife. He swallowed.

Leorio ripped the blade away, slicing through the flesh and bones of Kurapika's hand. The blond man screamed and backed up again, hand pouring blood and nerves burning with pain.

Kurapika was shouting nonsense in his panic. He couldn't believe that Leorio would do this.

Kurapika looked up into Leorio's eyes, and the tall man used the opportunity to punch to Kurapika right in the throat. The screaming stopped. Kurapika bent over, coughing blood onto the floor. He could hardly breathe, and every inhale hurt. But he didn't want to fight back. This was Leorio- his Leorio.

The tall man stood, grabbing the blond by the hair, and pulling him up as well. Kurapika's feet only barely brushed the floor. He had both hands wrapped around Leorio's wrist, trying to ease the pressure.

"Where is the book?"

"There's more than one." Kurapika admitted with broken vocal chords. "Three books by the late Dr. Jaeger. I don't know. I don't know where they are! Please, Leorio put me down-"

"Liar." Leorio raised his knife and took a deadly swing at Kurapika's throat.

The smaller man dropped his hands and crunched his abs, lowering himself just in time. The knife sliced across his hair, separating him from Leorio's grasp.

"Damn you." The doctor cursed. "I know you know where those books are, and I know you've seen them. You're hiding them somewhere, just tell me where they are!"

"I don't know!" Kurapika sobbed, cradling his still-bleeding hand to his chest. He coughed again, more blood splattering his palm.

"This method of interrogation is working quite well, I wonder what would happen if we highered the stakes."

"What?"

"Tell me where the books are." Leorio held the knife against his own arm. "Now."

"Leorio, what are you-" Kurapika was interrupted but the doctor slashing his arm wide open. "Stop! Stop- what are you doing?!"

"I'm serious about this, chain user. If you don't tell us exactly where the books are, the doctor dies." Leorio held the knife against his throat.

Chain user? Oh no. No no no. Leorio was possessed by a member of the phantom troupe.
