Sasuke was really good at disguising himself. He made sure to not only place a henge on his body to make himself look like some random businessman, but he also lowered his chakra enough to really seem like an average villager.

It was all so he could follow Sakura and see if anyone else was following her.

He's not good at showing his feelings but when she came to his home yelling and accusing him of being a perve, he refused to ignore it.

Sasuke wasn't sure why Sakura was so angry with him at the tavern last night, nor did he understand why she would assume that he of all people would be peaking at her through her window.

He worked hard to always cover his tracks and used disguises to gather intel during missions.

He's an expert at genjutsu.

He's an Uchiha for fucks sake!

Sakura should know better than to assume that he could be caught peeping on her. If he wanted to peep on her, then she'd never know.

That's why he's sitting one table over from her at this dumpling restaurant, listening in on her conversation with Kakashi Sensei.

He noticed Kakashi acting strangely after breakfast with the team earlier that day. He followed him to the KIA stone but stayed back enough to where he couldn't hear what his Sensei was saying.

Then he followed him back to his apartment and noticed him laying on his couch reading Icha Icha.

Running into a dead end with his pervy Sensei, he decided that maybe it wasn't Kakashi who peeped on Sakura.

He then went to the hospital asking for her but was told that she was in the middle of surgery. He decided to hang out around the building in disguise and keep an eye on her office, through the window.

After being perched lazily on a tree nearby, he noticed her walk into her office with a drink and patient folder. She made herself comfortable at her desk and proceeded to spend the next few hours working on paperwork.

Now Sasuke is a patient man and didn't mind waiting for her to leave. He expected her to be hungry soon and would follow her to see if anyone else was spying on her.

Sure enough, Sakura left for dinner and made her way into the restaurant only to be followed later by himself and Kakashi Sensei.

Sasuke wasn't sure why Kakashi was there but listened closely to their conversation.

He heard everything.

And now Sasuke felt like the biggest jackass there ever was.

It was bad enough that he tried to kill her in the past. And it was even worse that he didn't really communicate with her after the war. He just expected her to wait for him because she loved him.

After she explained that he broke her heart, all he wanted to do was run out of the restaurant, so he could make plans to make it up to her.

But then all the color drained from his face when he heard Kakashi say the next few words.

"Sakura, I know this may be a little late on my part. But would you do me the honor of going out on a date with me sometime?" Kakashi asked cautiously.

Sasuke saw red.
