CH. 33

Sasuke walked Sakura through different passageways until they came to a large, medical room. He turned the lights on, and lead her to a door to the right. Inside was a small office, that included a desk, computer, lamp, and a large couch. There was also a file cabinet and dresser for her clothes. 

He let her get settled before leading back out of the office and showing her around the medical room. There were three patient tables in the middle, with counters on the back wall. The counters had different medical gadgets that Sasuke knew were for Sakura's and Orochimaru's tests, even though he didn't know exactly what they were called.

Leading her to another room on the opposite side of the laboratory, he turned the light on and showed her a breakroom/storage room. There was a regular fridge, stove, sink, and table for eating. But there were also extra boxes of test equipment, along with a special freezer for incubation. He knew it was for incubation because it currently stored his DNA inside. He wasn't shy when Orochimaru explained that he needed to prepare plenty of semen samples for them to use. So he took care of business quickly, with a little help from Karin. 

Karin also helped out and allowed Orochimaru to obtain several samples of donor eggs from her, so he can combine them with Sasuke's semen to make fertilized eggs. Karin was told that her uterus wasn't able to carry a child, but maybe with Sakura's help, she can either help Karin or agree to carry his child. Either way, Sasuke needed Sakura.

"Where is Orochimaru?" Sakura asked, but before he could answer he felt Orochimaru's chakra coming up to the door. 

A door opened on the other side of the breakroom, and Orochimaru walked inside to greet them.

"Hello, Sakura. It's been a long time. I look forward to seeing what my old teammate has taught you." he said in his casual, breathy voice. 

"Can you two just get to work? The sooner this is taken care of, the sooner I can go back on my missions." He asked, feeling impatient. 

Sakura rolled her eyes again and smiled genuinely at his old Master. 

"I look forward to working with you on this project as well. I was told that you have done a lot of research on fertility and DNA. Would you mind showing me your work?" Sakura asked kindly. 

"Yes, Dear. Let's leave Sasuke to his devices and retreat to my office. I can make you some tea and something to eat if you're hungry." Orochimaru offered.

Sasuke was already feeling annoyed, so he walked out of the room to let them do their work. He needed time to talk to Sakura but also needed her to start working quickly as well. As he made his way towards his sleeping quarters, he ran back into Karin, who was leaning against the wall by his door, with a smoldering look in her eyes.

"Hi, Sasuke-Kun. I hear Sakura has made it here. I can't wait to start carrying your babies. Want to start on some more samples for her to work with?" Karin purred as he walked up to her. 

"Sure, whatever." He had some pent-up anger he needed to work out anyways.
