Ch. 29

This mission tracking down the rogue shinobi, who were after Orochimaru was easier than Sasuke expected.

But the old Sanin's advice on how to build the Uchiha clan back up was unexpected.

Sasuke thought back to his old master's words, chewing them slowly in his mind. It was easy when he thought about it. He could still protect the village from outside, while building up his clan at the same time. The only other person who could help would be Tsunade herself, or a medic who is just as knowledgeable in this area.

Which means, that asking for Sakura to join him, was the perfect opportunity to win her heart.

"You know Sasuke-Kun, I'd be more than happy to help you build your clan back up," Karin whispered in his ear, as she laid naked next to him. He knew he shouldn't, but Karin had a way of convincing his body to do what she wanted. Sex with her has been always regretful afterwards, and he feels like he should feel something towards her, but he doesn't.

He wants to feel something with Sakura, but even when they had sex for the first time many months ago, he didn't feel anything then either. Maybe it was the trauma of his past, but trying to feel anything, for any woman felt foreign and wrong.

He was an avenger. Nothing more, nothing less.

He stayed loyal to Konoha for Naruto, and his brother, but that was it. He has to build his clan back up though. And Orochimaru's suggestion was perfect.

"I've been working with DNA extraction, and artificial insemination. I could easily take your DNA and combine it with a female egg, then implant it into a woman of your choosing. I only need the help of an experienced medic, preferably Tsunade, but I'm sure one of her students would suffice." he explained several weeks ago.

He knew Karin wanted to help him, but also knew that her fertility was almost destroyed from the previous wars. Otherwise, she'd been pregnant by now. He thought that one time he was with Sakura would have worked as well, but it didn't. So hopefully he can convince her to try artificial insemination.

Or even help him with Karin if possible. Grabbing a scroll and a pen, Sasuke wrote a letter to Kakashi. His request was simple.

As the last Uchiha, it would be in Konoha's best interest to help him with building up his clan again. He knew Kakashi wouldn't be able to turn him down, simply because the elders wouldn't let him. And he was sure that he'd try to send a different medic and not Sakura, but he'd just send them back as incompetent until Sakura was sent.

Convince Sakura to have his baby or help him and Karin. Maybe he could find more willing participants to help him as well. He use to have a lot of fangirls when he was younger, so maybe one of them would be willing to become a mother of his child?

Rolling up the scroll, Sasuke called for his hawk Garuda, and tied the scroll to him. Giving him some food and water, he stroked his feathers, then sent him on his way. Now he just had to wait for Sakura.
