"No word from Sakura-chan?" Naruto asked his old Sensei. He was worried about Sakura's mission with Sasuke the minute he heard from Ino about why she was gone for so long. Hinata tried to calm him down at first and explain to him that she was doing what she thinks is right for our village, but he couldn't stop the bad feeling from building up in his stomach.

"No word yet from her. But Sasuke has made it a point to send an update every two weeks." Kakashi then handed him a few letters from their teammate to read over.

Hokage-Sama,

The flowers started blooming here.

(Translation: Sakura arrived.)

Hokage-Sama,

The ground isn't as fertile as was expected.

(Translation: Sakura needs more time to do research.)

Hokage-Sama,

Nothing new to report.

(Translation: Nothing has changed. Sakura is still doing research.)

"Is this all that Teme can report?! Dattebayo!" Naruto shuffled through more notes.

"I'm not sure. I also don't understand why Sakura isn't reporting herself. I've asked in my replies, but haven't received an answer from her. However, read the latest letter Sasuke sent." Kakashi got up and walked over to the window, looking concerned.

Naruto looked at his old Sensei worriedly. He was looking extra haggard lately and he wasn't sure why. He can only imagine himself looking the same way when he becomes Hokage. Naruto shuffled through the other letters quickly, and read the latest one.

Hokage-Sama,

The ground is fertile again. As well as the flowers. I'll send you a bouquet by the end of this year.

(Translation: Sakura's fertility treatment is working. But Sakura can't come home until the baby is born.)

"Until the baby is born? What does Teme mean by that?" Naruto wondered. Does that mean Sakura-chan will be staying until the mother of Sasuke's child is born? Or does that mean that she is having Sasuke's baby and can't come home until the baby is born? His Sensei only stared out the window and couldn't give him any answers.

"Naruto, I have a mission for you," Kakashi said suddenly. He turned to Naruto and went to write down on a scroll his new mission objective. Handing the scroll to Naruto, he read it quickly and nodded his head in understanding.

Mission Objective:

Escort Sakura, Sasuke, and the mother of Sasuke's child back to the village for protection immediately. Take one medic with you.

Naruto jumped out of the window and headed to Hinata's home. She was medic, just as much as Ino, except she wasn't pregnant like Ino.

"Oi! Hinata! We have a mission!" Naruto yelled out in the open of his love's clan home.

"We do?" Hinata asked as she came out of her home looking beautiful as ever.

"We sure do Princess. Here's the mission scroll. Grab your pack and medic kit. We can leave as soon as you're ready." he explained then kissed her on the cheek. Hinata giggled then looked over the scroll. Her eyes went big at what she read.

"Naruto-Kun, does this mean Sasuke is going to be a father?" she asked expectantly.

"I believe so. We need to protect them as we head back to the village," he explained as he twirled some of her hair in his hand.

"But if Sakura will be with them, why am I needed?" she couldn't help but be confused as to why they needed her as a medic when Sakura was there and the best for the job.

"Because Teme and Sakura-chan may be the parents we're escorting, Dattebayo!" Naruto hoped it wasn't Sakura-chan. He could tell that over these last few months, she and his old Sensei had something going on. Like he couldn't sense his Sensei's chakra signature while he was disguised as Sukea. He just played along with them. It grossed him out a little to think that those two were together, but then he was happy at the same time.

"Oh no. After what Ino told me, I really hope it isn't Sakura-chan." Hinata said worriedly.

"I hope it's not either."
