Festivals were never Kakashi's favorite way to socialize. Sure, they usually had good food and entertainment, but they were always too crowded, expensive, loud, and not what he considered to be fun.

Sakura on the other hand loves festivals. She loves the smell of them, the decorations, music, dressing up, and dancing among other activities.

The first time Kakashi watched Sakura dance with her friends at a festival, he couldn't stop smiling at how carefree she looked. He felt she was the embodiment of the festival itself. That could also be because it was all about cherry blossoms that night.

She was still young and slightly green behind the ears. Her eyes were always glued to the last Uchiha, even when her blonde teammate was doing everything he could to get her attention instead.

But she always looked back at Kakashi and included him in team 7's festivities.

"Sensei! Come show these two how to properly catch a koi fish!" She'd yelled once upon a time.

He won a fish and let her pick it out. That was his first gift to her. He couldn't stop laughing when Naruto insisted he win a fish for her and dragged Sasuke into a competition, which lead both of his male student's to fall right into the pool. Sakura screamed at Naruto for messing up Sasuke's yukata and did her best to dry him.

Those were some of the happier moments of Kakashi's life so far.

Tonight, dressed in a navy blue yukata, Kakashi don a brown wig, grey contacts, purple eyeshadow, and purple stripes under his eyes.

And no mask.

Sukea, a.k.a. Kakashi, made his way to Sakura's, carrying a single red tulip and a beautiful red yukata for Sakura to wear. Ino explained to him that it means passion. And that's definitely what he's feeling for Sakura these days.

He knocked on her door a couple of times and waited patiently. He knew she was going to be confused as to why he's dressed this way, and also why he was showing up a whole 30 minutes early. He wanted a way to date her in public, without the Hokage fan club bothering them, and to gift her with a beautiful new yukata to wear.

"Hey, Kaka..." Sakura started, as she eyeballed the stranger in front of her door.

"Hey Sakura, you look beautiful."

"Ummm...Why do you look familiar?" she asked skeptically.

"Was it that long ago when we went on that team mission to find out what was under my mask?"

"Wait! Don't tell me you're Kakashi?! But you're Sukea! Oh, Kami!" Sakura started rubbing her face as she backed away from the door, looking flustered.

"It can't be that much of a surprise?" I mean I thought they had figured me out back then.

"I had such a crush on you! And it turns out that you were Kakashi this whole time! You have a lot of explaining to do, you know." Sakura said as she cracked a smile and came up to Kakashi to kiss him on his mouth.

She eyed the flower and bag asking curiously, "Are these for me?"

Kakashi nodded his head, still feeling a little startled that she had a crush on him when she was younger. He never thought she had eyes for anyone else but Sasuke.

He handed her the flower and bag, then watched her sniff the flower, smiling at its scent.

"Thank you, Kakashi! Now what's in here?" she asked laying down the flower on her table. She opened the bag, pulling out the beautiful red yukata, with cherry blossoms embroidered on the fabric, and squealed.

"It's beautiful! Does this mean we're going to the festival tonight?" she asked excitedly.

"Yes, it does. And we can just be us because hopefully, no one will catch on to who I am."

"Guess that means I should call you Sukea for the night, huh?" Sakura asked in a sultry tone, as she wrapped her arms around Kakashi, and pulled him down for a deep kiss.

Kakashi hummed in agreement.
