Ch. 27

Sitting back down to listen to her friend, Sakura asked, "So you can't go on missions for a while now. But why were you feeling that you would upset me? I'm so happy for you Ino."

Ino shook her head and a look of fear entered her face. Sakura's pulse quickened in anticipation of Ino's next words.

"The only of kunoichi who can go on this mission will be you Sakura. I can't go into details, but the Hokage asked for you to come to his office after you're done here. I'm sorry Sakura."

Why is she sorry. Hell, she knew she needed a break from the hospital and planning the children's clinic, so this will be perfect.

"Don't worry about it Ino. I need to get out of the village for a while. I'll be able to clear my head and hopefully make some important dicisions that I've been putting off these last three months." Ino shook her head in disagreement.

"I know you think this will be a break, but it won't. This mission may complicate your life more and it's my fault." Ino started to cry and hold her hands to her face. Sakura sighed and got back up to hold her friend.

Stupid pregnancy hormones are turning her rival into mush.

"It's okay Pig. I can't see my life becoming any more complicated than it already is, so just calm down please. Now we need to discuss what vitamins you need, how much work you can do, and all of the other checkups you'll need." Ino hicupped into Sakura's shoulder as they hugged, and started to calm down, dropping her arms and sitting down.

Sakura went back to her seat, then got to work with planning out Ino's pregnancy. She can't wrap her head around why Ino would think this mission is that bad. Most of Sakura's or Ino's medic missions lately have been simple.

Virus breaks out, helping the village by vaccinating everyone and bringing the fevers down is simple. Sometimes there's food poisining in the food or water supply, and they have to find it and clear it up. Or on the rare missions, a rogue ninja comes to town and is using some crazy jutsu on the people, and Ino or Sakura has to help heal everyone. Simple missions with simple expectations.

Sakura finished up with Ino, and her paperwork for the day before heading out, and grabbing some dinner for herself and Kakashi. This may be a good break for them because everything has become very hot and heavy lately.

She almost slipped and told him she loves him, but didn't want to freak him out, so she kept that to herself. Sakura wasn't stupid, she knew Kakashi had a rough past, and may never admit to loving her the way she wants.

Maybe strongly admiring her, but not loving her.

They still go on dates, sometimes ones he planned and sometimes ones she planned. The last one was heated though. They were so close to stripping each other down and devouring each other on the training field, that she had to separate them immediately when she realized they were in public.

She can still feel Kakashi's hands on her breasts, passionate kisses and nibbles on her neck's pulse point, and his throbbing bulge rubbing up against her core through their clothes. They were practically dry humping against a tree, and she almost forgot that he had ANBU stationed nearby to protect him.

Jumping off of him, she straightend her clothes, held her hand out to him to stand, and they made their way back to his office. Both looked thoroughly ravished, but also completely vexed.
