At home, Ivy finished all of her homework with supper. It was tedious and boring, but she was determined to keep her living situation the way it was. When she was done, she cleaned up her apartment, took a shower, and headed off to bed. Just as she pulled up the covers, her phone rang.

"Hello?" she answered.

"Hey babe." Robby's voice purred from the other end.

"Hey handsome, what's up?"

"Oh nothing much." He said casually, "Just hanging out in the hallway while my mom gets fucked."

"Oh, that's cool." Ivy let out a laugh.

"Yeah, sure." She could hear him roll his eyes, "So hey, serious question. Would you still date me if I took karate?"

"What kind of silly question is that? Of course I would." Ivy said, "What changed your mind?"

"Well, before mom of the year barged in, I was looking at my old man's website." Robby explained, "I don't know, I figured maybe I could use it to get to know him better before I decide if I want to live with him or not."

"That sounds like a reasonable idea." Ivy put a finger to her lip in thought, "Are you sure you want to take karate though? I heard it's pretty harsh."

"From who?" Robby asked.

"Couple of kids at school." She treaded lightly, "Heard them talking about it in the hall. Not sure if they were Cobra Kai though."

"Oh." Robby breathed, "I think I can handle it, maybe even surpass the old man one day."

"I know you will." Ivy laughed, "Nothing will ever stop you!"

"Thanks for the vote of confidence." She heard Robby smile, "Well, I just wanted to run it by you before I decided. Guess I'll go check it out tomorrow."

"I'm rooting for you. I also hope you'll be able to get some sleep." Ivy chuckled.

"Don't worry, I've got great headphones." There was a smirk in his voice, "Alright, well, I know you gotta get up early for school, so goodnight babe. I love you."

"Love you too, handsome." Ivy made a kiss noise into the phone, "Goodnight."

She hung up her phone and placed it on her nightstand, her chest feeling heavy. This guilt was getting hard to bear. Robby was going to join Cobra Kai for good reasons. He needed to bond with Johnny, especially because Johnny could give him a better life than his mom. But if he joined, then he would find out that she knew Johnny this whole time, and now she was in Cobra Kai too. She didn't know how he would take it, and she was running out of time to tell him. But Robby didn't seem to hate his dad now as much as he did when they first started dating, so maybe he would be a little more understanding. Her stomach churned sickly as she pulled up the covers to her ears, and she fell asleep while going back and forth in her head about what to do.

The next day at lunch, Aisha joined Ivy and the boys. Before they got into the cafeteria, Aisha pulled Ivy aside.

"Miguel explained everything." She said with a frown, "I just want you to know that if you need a girl to talk to, I'm here."

"Thanks, Aisha, but don't worry about it." Ivy gave her a cynical smile, "I have this thing where if I don't talk about it, it didn't happen. Miguel was supposed to tell you that I'm out here on vacation."

"Oh, okay..." Aisha's frowned deeper, unsure of what to say.

They joined the boys in the cafeteria and got in line to get food. When they were all loaded up, they turned to head to their table, only to see Sam pushing Kyler near the popular group. They stopped to see what was going on.
