Ivy woke up early the next morning, though she didn't plan on going to school. She had had a hard time sleeping, her mind stuck in a loop over how she was going to get Eli back without getting in trouble. She sent Sam a text, explaining why she wasn't going to be at school- a combination of the lack of sleep and her grandma's lecture. It would be better just to take the day to lay low and regroup anyway. Sam was sympathetic and asked her if she was still coming to the Dojo later. Ivy said yes, and then stopped answering her texts. She wanted to be alone. Unfortunately, fate had other plans, and there was a knock on her door shortly after.
Annoyed, she threw her door open only to come face to face with Hawk. He was wearing a tight black tank top that outlined his muscles, and red track pants that fit him just right. In his hand, he held a bouquet of red roses, his eyes deep and longing for her. Butterflies rushed through her chest as she took him in, and desire overwhelmed her even though she knew she had to fight it. At least until she knew what was going on here.
"Have you finally decided to come back?" she cocked her eyebrow.
"No." he shook his head, though he looked sad to deliver that news, "I came to negotiate a cease fire between the two of us."
Ivy looked him over as anger began to sizzle up her throat. He was really playing at his assets, coming there looking fine as hell with roses. He was banking on the fact that she would crack from the desire and come back to him, and she knew that. With how good he looked, especially with the glimmer in his eye, she was seriously considering giving in. She knew it was the sexual tension, as they hadn't touched romantically in so long, and she wanted him as such so bad. If only there was a way she could relieve some of that tension without compromising her agenda.
Without a word, she yanked the roses from him and threw them into the lot, hoping someone would run them over later. She then grabbed him by his collar and dragged him into her apartment before slamming the door behind them.
"What the hell are you doing?" Hawk's eyes widened.
"Don't open your mouth again." She muttered, pushing him up against the wall.
Leaning forward, her lips crashed into his, and he melted into her, a soft moan crawling up his throat. As she kissed him, her hands wandered, down his chest, cupping his butt, brushing over his groin, his breath quickening with every touch. He kissed her back hungerly, his hands starting to wander too. She let him squeeze and rub at her butt and breasts, even going so far to press herself up against his bulge to tease him. It all felt so good, like he was hers again, and they were just two teens wrapped up in the passion of each other. She felt Eli in the kiss, and she drank him in as long as she could, but as the sexual heat intensified, so did the darkness that hide inside Hawk. Losing the sweetness of him, she was released from her desire of him and pulled away, severing all contact between them. Though disappointed, she told herself that it was just enough to quench her thirst for him anyway, and that she would be able to keep her resolve for a long while after this.
"What the fuck was that?" Hawk struggled to catch his breath, still leaning up against the wall.
"I wanted to enjoy you before you started talking stupid again." Ivy shrugged.
"I barely said anything to you yet." Hawk stepped away from the wall.
"A cease fire, Hawk? That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. I'm one of the strongest players on the good side. You're stupid if you think I'm going to tap out, especially against you." She crossed her arms.
"Why do you keep calling me Hawk, even when it's just us? I miss hearing you say my name." he murmured.
"Because you're not my Eli anymore." She narrowed her eyes.
