A couple of weeks had passed since they tried to have a date night, and thankfully, nothing eventful had happened. Robby had tried to text Ivy only once, and she completely ignored him. The way he acted, he seemed to just want attention, whether it was good or bad, and she wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of either. After that last outburst, she was completely over him and his shit.

Ivy didn't confront Tory about her childish behavior at the roller rink. After the incident at the beach club, and then how she acted at the skate rink, Ivy realized that Tory was always going to be immature and vindictive. And though it irritated her, she vowed to keep quiet about it. Miguel and Tory had gotten pretty serious, and Ivy didn't want to butt in and ruin his happiness. He had moped for so long after Sam had broken up with him, that Ivy was willing to put up with a little bullshit so he could feel some peace again.

When the four of them weren't training at the Dojo, they were exercising together in a variety of ways: hiking, jogging, sparring, you name it. Miguel and Eli had wanted to get in as much training as possible before school started again and they had less free time, and Tory and Ivy were along for the ride.

Fortunately, with the help of Tory, Ivy was able to convince the boys to take a much-needed day off. They decided to go to the beach, and after a lot of swimming and racing around in the waves, they retired to the sands to lay on Cobra Kai towels and sunbathe.

Tory and Miguel laid together a little ways away, though still within talking distance, wrapped up in their own private conversation. Ivy was sprawled out on her back with her arms behind her head and her eyes closed under sunglasses. Eli laid to her left in a similar position, but he kept a hand on her hip as a way to cuddle without overheating.

"You know, I was thinking about the last time we were here." He stifled a yawn, the summer sun tiring him.

"What about it?" she hummed.

"You yelled at me for admiring your boobs." He chuckled, "But now I don't have to worry about that."

She put her sunglasses on top of her head and turned to him, smiling but confused.

"Eli, you've seen a lot more of that since then..."

"I know." He smirked at her, "But having the freedom to just look whenever I want is nice."

"Sometimes I wonder if you should be wearing a helmet." She laughed, moving her sunglasses back to her eyes.

"Ouch." Eli tapped his hand on her hip, "But you know what I mean, don't you?"

"Yes, because I've been freely checking out your ass this entire time." She stuck her tongue out, "This beach day is definitely much better than the last."

"Amen." Eli sighed happily, rubbing his hand up and down her side.

For a moment, the four of them just relaxed quietly and listened to the waves. The beach wasn't crowded, and there was a nice, cool breeze to accompany the warm sun. Ivy grabbed Eli's hand and tangled her fingers with his, about ready to drift off in the sand. But then someone's phone beeped, and a long, exasperated sigh came from Miguel.

"What, Migi?" Ivy groaned, rolling on her side to face him and Tory.

"Just got a text from Aisha." Miguel answered without looking away from his phone.

"And?" Eli turned, draping an arm over Ivy's waist.

"And she wants us to go to a party tomorrow." Miguel sighed again.
