They woke up the next morning and showered before Ivy went to make breakfast. She felt like shit, but not as bad as Eli, who had a slight hangover from the party. They sat down to eat, but didn't say much, still upset from last night's events. Ivy made sure to nurse Eli's hangover, silently making him eat everything and then offering him medicine when he was done. He took it with a grumble, his movements tired and slouchy.
"I tried to warn you." She shrugged.
"Like I was going to go to that party sober." He huffed.
"Maybe we should stay away from parties for a while." She looked to him.
"No complaints here." He groaned, holding his head.
All of the sudden, they heard a loud bang and a slam from outside, and Ivy grabbed her cigarettes before going out to investigate. The lot was dead, but there were two strange cars parked outside of Johnny's apartment. She looked over them curiously as she lit up, but she still couldn't place who's they were. She had a flash of when the bikers suddenly showed up that one day, and it made her worry. Eli stumbled out a moment later, squinting at the bright morning sun.
"What the hell was that noise?" he grumbled.
"Don't know, but it looks like Sensei has some company." Ivy exhaled her smoke in the direction of the cars.
Almost as if on cue, the commotion started up again, and they could hear banging and shouting coming from Johnny's apartment, though they couldn't exactly tell what was being said. They straightened up, trying to really hear, but the area went quiet again, and they were left confused.
"Should we go over there?" Eli asked.
"No. Whatever it is, Johnny can handle it." Ivy shook her head, "Besides, you know how he feels about us butting in."
"It sounds pretty serious though." Eli narrowed his eyes.
"Just leave it alone." She warned him.
Johnny's door flew open a moment later, revealing Daniel, who was practically dragging a tired Sam out of the apartment. Ivy's eyes widened with a smirk, not expecting that at all. Daniel walked Sam to one of the strange cars, his face scrunched in rage.
"You get in that car, and you go straight home." He growled at Sam, "You got it? Straight home!"
Sam nodded weakly and got in the car. Daniel stomped over to the other car, slamming his door before they both drove away.
Ivy was stunned, and when she looked to Eli, she saw that he was too. Why would Sam be in Johnny's apartment? His door opened again, and they saw Robby standing next to Johnny in the doorway, and then it all made sense.
"Great, more drama." Ivy rolled her eyes, tossing her cigarette butt.
Johnny suddenly spotted them across the lot, and he shooed Robby back into the apartment before he pointed at them.
"You two, front and center!" he demanded, jabbing a finger at the ground in front of him.
"What the fuck?" Eli scoffed.
"We didn't do anything!" Ivy called back to him, throwing her arms out to her sides.
"Now!" he repeated.
They relented, taking their time to close the gap between them and Johnny. They stood before him with their arms crossed, wondering what they were about to be punished for now.
