Stingray's house was not at all what Ivy had expected it to be. It was large and posh with a freshly cut lawn, and she began to wonder if everyone in California had a huge house besides her, Johnny and Miguel. However, she soon learned that this was actually Stingray's sister's house, and then everything made sense.

Eli and Ivy agreed on the way over that if they weren't around Yasmine and Dimitri that they were going to stay alone. Miguel and Sam were their friends, but their trouble in paradise was ruining their prom night, and since Robby and Tory had followed along to the after party, they knew things wouldn't get any better if they hung around.

Once inside the house, the four of them got glasses of spiked punch and found a couch to relax on. Yasmine and Dimitri were quick to ditch their drinks, opting instead to take up most of the space on the couch to make out. This forced Ivy to sit on Eli's lap as she sipped on her punch, but with his arm coiled around her waist she didn't mind. However, she could have done without the free face sucking show that was going on next to them.

"Come on, let's go check out the rest of the house." Yasmine separated from Dimitri just long enough to yank him up by his tie.

"I'll race ya!" Dimitri winked, and the couple dashed away to explore.

"Do you think he has the balls to go all the way tonight?" Ivy chuckled to Eli.

"Considering he got Yasmine in the first place, I think anything's possible." Eli smirked.

"Good, maybe he'll finally mellow out then." Ivy teased before downing the rest of her punch, "Come on, we can finally dance."

Eli lifted her up off the couch, twirling her around bridal style before gently setting her down. They then linked hands to do some fancy yet comical steps to the upbeat music, lost in each other's company again, only this time there was no one there to bump into them and stop them.

Suddenly, the music stopped, and everyone let out howls of disappointment around them. Eli pulled Ivy into him protectively, not quite sure of what was going on, as they looked around to see what had happened, but it was hard to do so with so many people crowding around.

"Woah! The music died, what's going on?" Stingray entered the room just as confused as everyone else, "Guys, turn it back on!"

"THERE ARE FAMILES ON THIS STREET TRYING TO GET SOME SLEEP!" a strange older man came storming into the room from the front.

Ivy flinched at his voice, backing into Eli further in anxiousness. The intruder was shorter and middle-aged, dressed in pajamas, slippers and a bathrobe. Sweat had his glasses sliding down his reddened face as he pointed an accusing finger at Stingray.

"If you all don't go home right now, you are going to get arrested for underage drinking!" he spat at everyone around him, and some of the kids started to leave, put off by his shouting and threats.

"Okay, relax! Hey guys! You don't have to leave, it's fine! He's my neighbor..." Stingray stepped in to face the man, and some of the kids stopped, "Hey, what are you doing here? You weren't invited. You should leave, right now."

"Okay." The man lowered his voice, but it was still full of a tense harshness, "No one listen to this speed bump of a human. This is a loser, everyone! That's why he's partying with you because he has no friends his own age."

Stingray looked hurt, and Ivy actually felt bad for him. Everyone in the karate circle knew that this was the truth, but it didn't bother them. Sure, he was cringey and weird sometimes, and it was odd having someone so much older around, but he was a kid at heart, so he had fit in well enough. Despite their differences, Stingray had always been kind to all of them and had been a great teammate when they were all back in Cobra Kai. He had his flaws, just like everyone else, but his good outweighed his bad, and he didn't deserve such a verbal thrashing from whoever the hell that guy was.
