Ivy was having her first smoke when Eli texted her the next morning.

Beach day. Get your ass down here.

Her phone beeped again, revealing that Eli had texted her directions to where they were. She put her phone down next to her and continued to leisurely smoke as if he had never texted her.

A beach day sounded nice. She had yet to visit the ocean, and she bet the cool water would feel wonderful after the hellish workout they had yesterday. But Moon was going to be there. She was wrapped around Eli every minute he wasn't practicing karate. Ivy couldn't stomach Eli when he was with Moon, and it wasn't because she was jealous, even if she was a little. When Eli was at the Dojo he was completely himself, but when he was with Moon he went full on alpha, and it was hard for Ivy to watch him dilute himself in order to have something in common with Moon. She flicked ash to the ground as her phone beeped again. This time the text was from Dimitri.

Please come to the beach. I don't want to be the third wheel.

Even through text she could hear the desperate whininess in his voice. She rolled her eyes and texted back, defeated.

I'm on my way.

At the beach, Ivy found Dimitri, Moon and Eli set up by a volleyball net. She tore off her tank top and threw it in her truck, staying in here green bikini top and jean shorts. She tied up her hair as she made her way towards them. Eli was the first to spot her.

"Holy fuck, Ivy!" he gasped, his mouth hanging open.

"What?" she gave him an irritated look.

"I've never really noticed cause of your clothes, but your boobs are huge!" he smirked, his eyes moving to her chest to admire them.

"What a stupid thing to say." She shook her head to brush him off as she made her way to Dimitri, "Come on, I'll be on your team."

"Okay, but I'm not that good." Dimitri mumbled.

"I know, but it's just for fun." Ivy smiled to try and encourage him.

Moon let out a bubbly laugh as she ducked under the net to join Eli. She kissed him sweetly before he tossed the ball to Ivy.

"You guys can serve first." He nodded and kissed Moon again.

"Barf." Ivy mumbled to herself and handed Dimitri the ball, "Give it a try."

Dimitri was hesitant but got into position anyway. He held the ball out with one hand and swung his other to hit it, only for the ball to thump weakly into the net and roll back to his feet.

"Uh, Mulligan..." Dimitri looked to the ground, embarrassed.

"There's no Mulligan's in volleyball." Eli shook his head, annoyed.

"Says you!" Dimitri scoffed, giving up, "Water break!"

Eli rolled his eyes as Dimitri moved to wipe his face on a Cobra Kai towel. As he did, two pretty girls walked by and stopped once they saw the towel.

"Cobra Kai?" one of them asked, "You guys won that karate tournament, right?"

"T-the All Valley? The one in Reseda?" Dimitri slung the towel over his shoulder to try and look cool, "Yes, uh, yes. We certainly did!"
