Moon's house was just as Ivy expected it to be, huge, lavish and overly decorated. Music boomed from inside, and there were already several cars parked out front. Ivy squeezed Eli's hand as they walked in together. If she knew there was going to be this many people, she would have given Miguel a big fat no.

The inside was just as lavish as the outside, and Moon was quick to greet them at the entrance. Ivy looked around at all the artwork and sculptures as Moon spoke in that annoying, bubbly tone of hers.

"Hey! Glad you could make it!" she beamed, "We have snacks in the kitchen, liquor and kegs outback. Feel free to take a swim or roam!"

"Yeah, whatever." Ivy dismissed her, "Is Miguel here?"

"Yep, he's by the pool with Tory." She smiled, oblivious to Ivy's wrath, "Have fun!"

Moon skipped away, ever the optimistic one, as Eli turned to Ivy.

"Under a new lens, I can see how fucking annoying she actually is. Sorry..." he grumbled, "Wanna grab a drink?"

"Sure." Ivy shrugged.

Eli led her to the back to grab some beers, but Ivy opted for a soda instead. He looked to her funny as he took a sip of his drink.

"What, you're not drinking?"

"Nope." She shook her head and popped the tab on her soda.

"Why not? It's a party." He grabbed her hand.

"Because I'm my father's daughter, and I'm not going to risk being an angry drunk." She took a gulp of soda, "Plus, if you saw how hungover Miguel was the morning of the All-Valley, you wouldn't want to drink either."

"Fair enough." He kissed her cheek.

"Hey, I see some other cobras." She turned and pointed, "Let's join them."

They moved to their group and squished onto a couch with Aisha and Mitch. Ivy sat on Eli's lap so there'd be more room, but mostly it was so that he could hold her. The amount of people and noise was starting to make her anxious.

"Hey girl!" she purred at Aisha.

"Hey yourself!" Aisha smiled.

"What a great party, huh?" Ivy mocked Moon's voice.

"Oh, knock it off." Aisha swatted her knee with a laugh, "I'm sure it will get better as the night goes on."

But she couldn't have been more wrong, as the moment she finished speaking, Sam and Robby entered the room with the rest of the Miyagi-Do students.

"Told you." Ivy mumbled to Eli and took a sip of her soda.

The room quieted as the cobras and Miyagi-Do's locked into a stare down. Some cobras looked to old friends, disappointed in their Dojo switch. Others, like Ivy, were just sickened by their presence. Robby was staring at her, and she was ready to get up and gauge his eyes out. Miguel and Tory walked in a moment later, their appearance only intensifying the stare down. Ivy felt tempers flare around her, and she set her soda down, wanting to be ready to fight if it came to that. Tory mumbled something to Miguel, and they left as quickly as they came, not in the mood for a fight apparently. Moon sauntered in last, oblivious to everything.

"Sam, I'm so glad you came!" she moved to the Miyagi-Do's, "Kegs and liquor are out back, snacks are in the kitchen, and the vegan pigs in a blanket are almost out of the oven."
