A few weeks had passed, and Spring was in the air. Miguel's date with Sam had gone way better than he had hoped, and they had been seeing each other since then. Miguel was on a permanent high of bliss, and Ivy was so happy for him. Johnny had won the board over, allowing Cobra Kai to enter the All-Valley Tournament. It was a big win for him, and Ivy could see the pride on his face every day. The only downside to this was that now they had to train harder than ever to ensure their victory at the tournament. This kept Ivy pretty busy after school.

Between Ivy going to school, Robby going to work, and both of them training with different people, they didn't see each other as much. But they texted all the time and tried to call each other at least once a day. They tackled their problems slowly and one at a time. Ivy was working hard to gain Robby's trust back, and though it was becoming a lengthy process, she was just happy to have another chance. She didn't realize how much she actually loved him until she was faced with losing him.

Today was a rare day, as Ivy didn't have karate and Robby didn't have work, so they met up at the park to eat ice cream and relax. They sat together at their usual bench and Robby put his arm around her shoulders as they snacked.

"So, how's your training going?" she asked.

"Great, he's inviting me to train at his home Dojo now too, so that's cool." Robby smiled.

"Ooo is it a nice house?" Ivy teased him.

"Nicer than I'll ever afford." He clicked his tongue.

"Hey, with how things are going between you two, maybe you'll inherit his empire." Ivy joked.

"Get real!" he laughed and bent down to kiss her cheek, "How about you?"

"Do you really want to know?" she looked to him hesitantly.

"Yeah, I do." He looked back at her warmly.

"Oh my god, it's torture! He's been having us train practically every day for the tournament." Ivy groaned, "I've had to at least lost like...twenty pounds!"

"Not where it counts." Robby smirked, and she saw him glance at her chest.

"Ha, ha!" she stuck out her tongue at him, "Seriously though, since it's Saturday tomorrow, he's taking us somewhere special to train. He didn't even tell us where! We just know it's not at the Dojo. I'm scared."

"You'll be fine." Robby nudged her, "Oh, that reminds me. Mr. LaRusso invited me to train with him somewhere special too. I think he said in the woods somewhere...but we'll be gone all day Sunday."

"See, that sounds fun and peaceful. I love the woods." Ivy nodded.

"I know you do. I'll try and pay attention to the directions so that maybe I can take you there." He smiled.

"I don't deserve you." She blushed.

"Yes, you do. I don't like that you lied, but I'm starting to understand why you did." His face fell.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm kind of having the same problem." He sighed, "I got a job at LaRusso's to piss off my dad. I didn't expect to get along with Mr. LaRusso so well. He treats me well, and we have fun training together, like, he's kind of filled the hole my dad left."

"Isn't that good?" Ivy looked to him.

"Yeah, but he doesn't really know who I am. Well, more so, he doesn't know where I came from. If he finds out that Johnny Lawrence is my dad, he's going to flip." He explained.
