The next day, Johnny decided to give them the day off, so Miguel and Ivy met up with Aisha and Eli to see a movie. They decided to split off into teams, so while Aisha and Miguel went to grab their tickets, Ivy went with Eli to get some snacks. As they waited in line for their food, Ivy nudged Eli to get his attention.

"What?" his head snapped to her.

"Why didn't you invite Dimitri?" she asked.

"Must have slipped my mind." He shrugged.

"No really, you've been hanging out with him less and less." She jabbed his arm with her elbow, "What's going on?"

"Quit it!" he jabbed her back, "Nothing's going on. He doesn't like the whole Hawk thing and I'm tired of hearing him bitch about it."

"Are you still friends?" she asked as they moved with the line.

"Yeah, of course. Just needed a little break." He huffed and turned to her, "Is that okay?"

"Yeah. I was just curious." She gave him a shrug of her own.

He gave her a look as they gathered up their snacks, but she refused to look back at him. They found Miguel and Aisha and then made their way into the theater to find seats. Miguel sat the furthest in, then Aisha, then Ivy, and finally Eli sat on the end. They traded snacks back and forth as the movie started until everyone was satisfied. Ivy opened up a box of junior mints quietly and moved to put her arm on the arm rest, but Eli shoved her off with a smirk. She shoved him back with a glare, but he wasn't fazed. He shoved her arm again, and after some back and forth, Aisha stepped in to stop them.

"Would you two knock it off?" she whispered.

"It's him!" Ivy hissed at her.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Eli whispered with an innocent grin.

"Whatever. Just stop it." Aisha warned them.

When Aisha turned away, Ivy planted her arm on the arm rest firmly to assert her claim. That intoxicating smirk appeared on Eli's face, and he shrugged before resting his arm on her leg. Her face flushed, but she didn't stop him. With a wink, he put some popcorn into his mouth and turned his head to face the screen. She followed suit and tried to ignore the warmth from his hand.

About halfway through the movie, Eli got bored and started throwing popcorn at a group of girls below them. Ivy rolled her eyes as she heard Aisha talking to Miguel, and she turned her head to listen.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Aisha asked him.

"I can't stop thinking about what Sensei told me about Sam's dad." Miguel shook his head.

"So Sensei and Sam's dad had some beef." Aisha shrugged as Eli continued to throw popcorn, "It has nothing to do with you."

"Do I have to spell it out for you?" Miguel looked to her, irritated, "Sam's dad hates Cobra Kai, I'm a part of Cobra Kai, so by the transit of property Sam's dad is going to hate me?"

"Jesus Christ, you're such a nerd." Eli interrupted with a scoff before he threw more popcorn.

"Knock it off." Ivy hissed and smacked his chest.

"Awe, are you jealous?" Eli stuck out his tongue.

"You wish." Ivy shut him down and turned back to Miguel and Aisha.

"I'm telling you, it's not just on my mind." Miguel sighed, "Sam was acting weird the other day when her dad walked by."

"Um, listen..." Aisha paused to think, "I've known Mr. LaRusso since the third grade. He's a really nice guy, you just have to talk to him."
