An extremely smiley Brenna slowly made her say across the street from Kiara's luxury house to her own luxury home, her heels now swinging in her hand, her bare feet on the warm gravel.
"Brenna!" some one cheered from the steps of her house once she was close.
The green eyed girl squinted at the steps, the patio lights already out for the night, the moon the only thing lighting anything up.
"Rafe?" she questioned once she got close enough, his once perfectly tailored look was messy, bow tie gone and shirt unbuttoned.
"I just came here to say," he started to stand up from the steps where he was once sitting, he lost his balance for a second, almost tumbling down the stairs.
"How drunk are you?" Brenna caught the larger boy so he didn't fall down the steps, "Did you drive here?" she quickly scanned the nearby street for his truck.
"My boy Top dropped me off," he slurred, sounding almost proud, taking another drink from the bottle he held.
"God," Brenna sighed knowing Topper had been drinking too, Brenna helped get Rafe up the steps to her front porch.
"Are we really done? I don't want to be done," Rafe drunkenly confessed to the brunette who stood in front of him as he sat on a porch chair.
"Yes, Rafe, we are beyond done," Brenna stated with her arms crossed over her chest looking down at him.
"I can change," Rafe attempted to stand up, placing his hands on her shoulders to keep himself steady, "I can be better"
"No Rafe, just no," Brenna sighed, "We're done, end of story"
"Please"
"No. Now sit here, give me that," she pushed him back down on the chair and took the bottle of liquor from him, "I'm getting my keys and I'm taking you home"
Rafe gave up fighting with her, his heart broken, something he'd never let anyone know.
Brenna quietly and quickly entered her house, her Uncles both in a deep sleep by now. She found her keys in their usual spot by the front door, grabbing them and heading back out to the drunk boy.
"Okay come on," Brenna sighed, once she got outside. Rafe listened and got off the chair, following her in a zig-zag line.
He couldn't help but notice how even this late at night Brenna still held herself with poise and confidence. She always had a sense of elegance to her, no matter what she was doing or where she was.
Brenna made sure to get him home and in his bed safely, as much as she disliked him she couldn't help but want to make sure he was safe and okay before heading home to her own bed for the night.
"So you're living with Sarah Cameron," Kiara sassed from across the room where she collected waters for the group, before walking away from the teen boy beside her.
"Okay, look, the only reason I'm living there is because her dad bailed me out," John B argued from beside her turning to face the rest of the group as the girl made her way over to JJ, Pope and Brenna who had all taken over a table in the middle of her family's restaurant.
