"Ready?" Kiara asked as Brenna jogged down the never ending stairs of her house.

It had become normal for Kiara to just let herself in and hang around the foyer, she was obsessed with the large emerald green velvet chairs the Carlson's had.

"Extremely, I need this," Brenna sighed raking her fingers through her wavy hair once she made it to the bottom of the stairs.

"Everything good?" Kiara asked as the two girls exited the house.

"Just people being annoying at work," Brenna lied, sliding into the passenger seat of Kiara's car.

"Well don't worry tonight's going to be chill," Kiara patted the girls thigh, letting it linger for a second, "Maybe we can persuade JJ to share some of his weed after"

"He would never," Brenna laughed.

After picking up JJ and Pope, the four drove to the park where they played movies all summer long.

Growing up Brenna and her mother would come every week when they visited, eat way too much popcorn and candy always washing it all down with a large soda.

This was the same place Brenna had rolled down the hill at eight years old and ran right into Sarah Cameron for the first time, literally. It was also the first place she ever went on a real date, with, yep you guessed it, Rafe Cameron.

"Hey, Ren, what do you want?" Kiara asked the brunette, waving her hand in front of her face from beside her, trying to pull her from her thoughts.

"Sorry, uhm just a popcorn, please," Brenna smiled.

JJ and Pope kept whispering to each other while the three waited for Kiara to comeback from the snack bar.

"Can you two stop being so weird?" Brenna looked up at the two boys who immediately stoped talking when she spoke, looking over at her, she couldn't read their faces.

"Uh just saw Rafe," Kiara started as she came back, taking a seat beside Brenna on the blanket they were sharing, "He said, and I quote 'tell your boy that we know what he did'. What is that?"

"He said the same thing to me!" Brenna added as Kiara handed her the popcorn she bought for her.

Kiara looked at Brenna confused for why she would be talking to Rafe.

"What the hell did you two do?" Brenna asked bluntly.

Both girls glared at the boys, just knowing they did something stupid.

"Uhm," JJ scratched his head while Pope looked at him like he had no clue what to say, "Where is he?"

"Right there," Kiara looked over her shoulder. The other three all looked back, and sure enough Rafe, Topper and Kelce stood at the edge of the field.

Rafe caught Brenna's eye and shot her a wink.

"Great the whole death squad," Pope said in a panic, still starring at the trio.

"Don't stare, bro," JJ pushed the boy to face forward again.

Kiara and Brenna looked at each other, beyond confused.
