Back on the tropical island of Pogulandia...

The boys had caught fish while Sarah tried to find some sort of anything to wrap Brenna's shoulder. Brenna had been banished to a rock while Cleo and Kiara went to find wood for a fire.

"Can't I just come with? I'll just follow," Brenna pouted at Kiara.

"No! Sit," the curly haired girl pointed at the rock behind her girlfriend. Cleo chuckled at the two girls.

"I won't touch anything, I promise"

"No, you'll find some way to get more hurt, just sit and wait for Sarah, please," Kiara's tone was stern and worried.

"Fine," Brenna had crossed her arms over her chest in defeat, now still sitting on that rock watching the boys try to fish without any equipment, which was pretty entertaining. JJ kept cussing at the fish making John B laugh while Pope never lost his focus.

A few minutes later Sarah approached the bored brunette, arms full of green things, "Okay so I found things that I hope are not poison ivy, and one I know for sure is aloe!"

"Well we're on tropical island, right? And poison ivy is more of a forest thing, right?" Brenna questioned her own words.

"Yeah, uhm yeah that sounds right," Sarah's voice was just as unsure as Brenna's, "Lets just hope this doesn't cause more problems"

"Oh great," Brenna sighed, dropping her head as the blonde started to wrap the girl's arm.

Hours later, the pogues sat around a little fire each with a stick in hand a tiny fish on the end, warming it up over the flame, the boys had somehow managed to catch one fish for each member of the group.

They sat around the fire and told Cleo the rest of the story of how they got onto the cargo ship. They told her how Brenna and John B found out they were siblings, her reply being "You two didn't know?"

Pope told her about round three with Rafe, which Brenna reacted with fake throwing up the name which Cleo questioned and she filled her in on the history of the psycho and herself.

But now with all of their stories in order they felt like they could breathe. They had lost so much but they felt like they didn't have to worry about anything besides maybe if they could catch more fish for breakfast. They had each other and that was what mattered most.

"Hey," Kiara whispered to Brenna who had her head on the girls shoulder, arm tangled with hers, the two squished together on a rock. Everyone was winding down for the night, after hours of them all just laughing and enjoying each other's company, they were watching the small flames dance in front of them.

"Mhm?" Brenna hummed not moving, feeling at peace for the first time in a while. She had literally run away from her problems and had her favorite person right beside her.

"Lets go find some more wood," Kiara whispered.

"What happened to me getting hurt again?" Brenna teased lifting her head to see the brunettes brown eyes that were sparking from the flames.

"Everyone else is asleep and the fires dying," Kiara's hand that was on the brunettes thigh slid up higher trying to give her a hint, one Brenna understood, a smirk on her face as the two shared a look.

"I can go with you," Sarah sat up with a smile from across the circle of friends.

Kiara sent the blonde a glare that she instantly understood.

"Oh uhm actually, I am uh sleeping," Sarah fumbled over her words quickly closing her eyes and resting her head back down in the sand.

"C'mon," Kiara patted her girlfriends thigh as she got up, taking her hand in hers.

Brenna smiled, following Kiara like a lovesick puppy.

"Good job back there, very subtle," Brenna teased as she followed Kiara's footsteps down the beach away from their friends.

"Hey! I was," Kiara protested as she stoped walking and turned to face her girlfriend.

"I think Sarah thought you were gonna kill her," Brenna giggled.

"I wouldn't"

"A few months ago you would of"

"Maybe"

"Isn't it crazy," Brenna took a moment to just take in her thoughts. Kiara's hand still loosely holding onto Brenna's as she turned to face the water.

"Like all this, not even a year ago, like three months ago I was still on the mainland, my grandparents still owned the smoothie shop, the Outer Banks was just a summer trip for me," she paused, images of her mom flashing into her head, "I still had my mom," she reached for the little gold shell that never left her neck, twisting it in her finger tips.

There was a second of silence as she took a seat in the sand, knees up to her chest, arms wrapped around her legs, "Now I have a twin brother, five crazy friends who took me on a whirlwind of an adventure, my somewhat of an ex has tired to kill me at least three times," she chuckled, pausing again.

Kiara listened to every word she said, also trying to wrap her head around how she went from working at her parents restaurant to now being stranded on an island with her best friends.

Brenna looked up at Kiara who was still standing just a step behind her, "And I have a pretty hot girlfriend"

A smile grew on Kiara's face before she spoke up, taking a seat beside Brenna, "My girlfriends pretty hot, too, do you happen to know her?"

"Yeah I'd say she's pretty cute," Brenna dramatically flipped her hair, Kiara rolled her eyes at her before their eyes met. Kiara's eyes glanced down at Brenna's lips, the brunette softly half smiling.

Both of their eyes fluttered shut as they leaned in letting their lips meet in the middle, the two girls melting into on another, feeling like the only two people on the planet.

"I say," Brenna started to talk between kisses, "We kick the boys," more kisses, she found herself somehow straddling Kiara's lap, something Kiara always found a way to make happen, "Off the island," more kisses, her fingers tangled in the girls curls, "And take over"

"It'd be," Kiara started to respond, the two of them still getting lost in each other, "More fun," her hands exploring Brenna's soft skin, "If we make them," the two of them laying back into the sand, "Work for us"

"Ooo," Brenna sat up, "That is a good idea"

"Let's brainstorm later," Kiara smiled fingers running over the waistline of Brenna's jeans, ghosting over her skin.

"Okay," Brenna smiled leaning back over to connect their lips again, completely and totally getting lost in one another, there was absolutely nothing standing in between them now.
