"Uh I'm gonna do this one by myself tonight," John B announced as he put the van into park right outside of the Hawk's nest, he turned to face JJ, Pope, Kiara and Brenna who were spread out in the back of the van. 

Brenna loved to watch the sunset from the top of the Hawks nest, it was so peaceful and you could perfectly watch the sun set over the water, but she knew it was kind of stupid to being going up there when it was starting to storm. The structure was built eons ago and was not kept up with, ever.

"John B, I don't think its safe to go up there right now," Brenna voiced her worry.

"I'll be fine, you guys just stay here and don't do anything stupid," John B glared right at JJ, the two girls also looked over to the blonde who was starting to roll a joint.

"I don't want to spook Sarah with the peanut gallery," John B explained himself when Kiara gave him side eye.

"I just don't understand why we're involving her at all," Kiara shrugged, crossing her arms over her chest and leaning back, annoyance woven in her tone.

"Kie, we're not involving her, okay?" John B snapped back.

"Lets think of it like a uhm business meeting?" Brenna suggested, John B and the brunette made eye contact before turning and nodding at Kiara.

JJ made a sexual induendo from where he sat on the floor beside Brenna's legs, which made Pope laugh and earned JJ a kick from Brenna.

"Look, once we get what we need, we cut her loose, all right?" John B added. Kiara gave Brenna a look mixed of annoyance and confusion on why she was backing up John B, "Plus, we need the map"

"Promise me nothing's happening between you," Kiara sighed, looking at her friend with hopeful eyes.

"Nothing is happening, Kie," John B reassured her.

Kiara gave him a look full of disapproval, while Brenna have him a look that said she knew he was lying, she had talked to Sarah, she knew Sarah wanted to end things with Topper because of John B.

"Just promise me nothing's happening between you guys," Kiara repeated.

"I promise," John B sighed.

"That was really believable," JJ added to the conversation, Brenna hit him on the head to get him to shut up.

"A hundred percent believable," Pope agreed sarcastically.

"Shut up," Brenna whispered at the two boys who occupied the floor.

"Anyways, um, I'm gonna take care of business," John B said awkwardly, the tension in the small van was thick.

"We'll just sit here," Pope sighed.

"Yeah, yeah," JJ agreed.

"In the hot-ass car," Pope continued as John B got out of the car and came around to the open side door, "While it's lightning"

"You two are the most annoying people on planet earth," Brenna sighed shaking her head at the two boys.

Brenna looked over at Kiara who was obviously annoyed with everything going on, the curly haired girl sat with her head in her hand, leaning way from Brenna.
