Chapter 55

                      𝕭𝖊 𝖄𝖔𝖚𝖗 𝕰𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖞𝖙𝖍𝖎𝖓𝖌

Sabay sabay na nag alisan ang mga kasama namin sa table matapos sabihin ni Bronze iyon. Ano bang meron?

Nilingon ko naman si Ulysses sa tabi ko at umiling lang siya bago hinawakan ang kamay ko at hinatak ako palayo sa mesa.

"Huy bakit tayo umaalis?" tanong ko sakanya nang nagtataka parin at lilingunin ko na sana si Bronze pero hinawakan ni Ulysses ang ulo ko para pigilan.

Diretso lang ang titig niya sa daan habang naglalakad kami papasok sa mansion.

"You wouldn't like it when Bronze said he's bored"

"Why?" I continued asking.

He then decided to stop walking and faced me. "Don't you remember what happened last time we played with Bronze's game?" he asked and I tried to look back.

"Was it during our Palawan trip?" I asked as I looked at him. He nodded.

"But I see no harm in playing with Bronze's game"

"Only because I am with you" he said, and I still don't get it.

I gave Ulysses a quizzical look and so he explained. "He's a dangerous game master. And he only wants to play with people's feelings"

I didn't ask further about that but what Ulysses said definitely made me remember some times that would make sense.

During the game we had at Palawan, the twins, and the others we're tried to deal with one another. And so was Pristine, me, Vandria and Ulysses. Now I can somehow get it.

But is Ulysses talking something more than that?

For several days, I've been busy submitting my draft for the writers club. I chose to write a novel, particularly one that is very familiar to me. I haven't decided what I wanted for the ending so that is what I am working hard for.

From time to time nag uusap kami ni Ulysses in and out of the school grounds. Sabay na rin kami umuwi dahil obviously hindi parin siya matahimik dun sa issue namin ni Claude even though I already explained everything to him.

"Do you still like him?" one time he asked during one of our lunchdate at their family's resto.

"Who?" I asked in the middle of eating.

"Claude" he said seriously, almost feels like his pointing a dagger at me with his sharp eyes.

I sighed and put down my fork and knife.

"How many times do I need to tell you, it doesn't matter"

"I only need an answer" he said with conviction.

I nodded slowly. "No. I don't"

"But you like him for eight years. Is it just easy for your feelings to fade?" he asked unbelieving. Saan ako lulugar?!

"You were the one who said that time doesn't matter when you're inlove didn't you?" balik ko sakanya. He became silent.

"That's why I told you,  I don't like him anymore. Because I already have you in my life and that's the only important thing to me right now"
