One thing I learned about fairytales is that magical moments doesn't last. Every magic has its limit.

And as if my jar full of happiness came empty right after the last light of firework disappear in the darkness at the end of the year.

I didn't know what went wrong. But all of a sudden, just like the last light of firework. Ulysses disappear.

Without a trace. Without a word.

He seems to be like a beautiful dream I had for the whole year. And when I wake up to greet another year of my life, he wasn't there as if he didn't exist.

Hindi ko alam kung anong mali. I thought when the second day of January came, and he didn't even send a text message to me. I just told myself maybe he was just too busy with work, knowing how workaholic he is.

It bothered me but I did my best to just brush the thought of him vanishing from me.

Another day came, I texted him and called him a couple of times but still, there was no reply.

Nag umpisa na akong mag alala makalipas ang ilang araw, I even went to seek his cousins for news but even them didn't know where he was. And just like me, the last time they saw him was when he is with me during the New Year's eve.

At first I thought they are just lying to me just like what they did before, but when I saw them calling every person they know to ask where Ulysses was with faces unexplainable, doon na ako naniwala na wala talaga silang alam sa nangyayari.

A month had passed, and still wala pa rin kaming balita sa kung ano na ang nangyari kay Ulysses. I even contacted his family, even Mr. Del Real. But to no avail, hindi ko rin siya macontact and according to some people at their company he is overseas. Maging sina Emi at Cade ay nasa ibang bansa daw right after new year.

It seems so off na wala man lang silang pasabi na bigla silang umalis. What is really happening? Did something happened?

Valentines day is just right around the corner, you can clearly see the red color everywhere pero ako walang gana parin sa lahat ng bagay na nakikita dahil sa pag aalala kung nasaan na ba si Ulysses.

"I don't know what to do anymore" I slammed myself at the bench as Lily sat down beside me looking so hopeless too.

Tinitigan niya ako ng may lungkot sa mukha hindi alam kung ano pa ang sasabihin. Unti unti na akong nawawalan ng pag asa. How could someone as famous as Ulysses disappear like that as if he was just a nobody?

"Maybe there is a reason behind his disappearance? We even asked the police to help with his case but according to them wala silang nahanap na clues kung saan siya nagpunta" Lily said as she took a deep breath looking up in the sky.

"I'm beginning to get nervous Lily. What if something bad really happened to him? Paano kung nakidnap pala siya? Paano kung napunta siya sa isang lugar na hindi niya alam at nawalan siya ng malay o di kaya ay pinagsamantalahan siya ng mga masasamang tao?! Lily anong gagawin ko?"

"Shh calm down Iva" she hugged me and gently tapped ny back as I can't help but to cry helplessly.

Hindi ko na alam ang iisipin at gagawin. I'm gonna die of worrying.
