He holds my hand as we both glance at the familiar clock tower he showed me more than a year ago. The entire place looks exactly the same as that time, the almost desolated road with nothing but some orange colored light posts that gives light to the entire area.

Pakiramdam ko hindi ako umalis sa lugar na to. Pakiramdam ko walang mga kaganapang nangyari sa loob ng isang taon at ito parin yung exact moment na kasama ko noon si Ulysses ng unang beses nya akong dalhin dito.

"Before when I looked at this clock tower, I felt like I was in the renaissance period. But now looking back at it, it gives me an entirely different feeling" he looked at me beside him and smiled warmly.

"It feels like the time has stopped for me whenever I gaze at it with you beside me and looking at me like you used to that exact same night" he chuckled thinking of that thought.

"Pakiramdam ko ako parin yung Ulysses at ikaw parin yung Ivanessa na nandito nung mga panahon na yon. Like we were frozen in time, and thus we are here again like nothing happened at all" he explained dreaming like a child thinking that kind of silly thing.

But his words are all exactly like mine. Tumango ako. "Hindi ka nag iisa. I feel the same way as you do. It feels like I didn't even aged a bit, but thinking about it. I guess we really aren't the same way as before, because I believe that we became a lot matured than that time last year" maging ako ay natawa nalang sa kung man ang naiisip namin at muli kong tiningala yung clock tower na nasa harapan namin.

"We gain a lot of experiences, trials and problems this past year that made us who we are today" muli akong tumingin sakanya nang hindi parin mawala ang kaunting ngiti sa labi. "Maybe the reason why our relationship didn't worked out last year, was because we aren't ready enough for that and we needed all of those times para marealized natin na we need to grow up to who we are today before making our decisions"

I actually didn't thought about that not until now. Siguro nga maraming bagay pa ang dapat naming narasanan bago namin marealized kung ano ba talaga kami para sa isa't isa. Maybe that one year is really what we need after all.

Malambing na ngiti ang ibingay sakin ni Ulysses habang pinagmamasdan ako ngayon. I know we both understand now our situation, and compared to that last time we've been together, I can say that we are now more matured enough to deal everything between us.

"Ivanessa" he called my name and I just answered with an expectant look.

"Will you tell me the reason why all those time you decided to run away from me?"

I was stoned for a second when I heard him asked me that question. But at the back of my mind, matagal ko nang naisip na itatanong niya sakin ang tanong na yan.
