They say that no relationship is all sunshine, but two people can share one umbrella and survive the storm together.

So today, I will finally marked it official.

Ulysses and I decided to arrange a dinner with my grandparents and of course with Grayson since the time has come for me to tell my family about our relationship.

It has been months since we started dating at ilang beses ko na rin sinubukan ihanda ang sarili ko para sa araw na to. And gladly, I finally got my courage to do it.

Since wala sina papa at kuya sa Pinas, I will just prepare another time with them. So ngayon focus muna ako sa kung anong mangyayari tonight.

I informed my grandparents that I will be introducing someone important tonight and invited them for dinner.

The way they looked at me, alam ko nang may idea na sila kung ano ang plano ko and they immediately agreed to my requests.

Ulysses was the one who arranged everything, including the venue. I asked him to prepare since sobra akong kinakabahan sa magiging reaction nina lolo at lola. Will they approve us?

It is quarter past 6pm at ang usapan namin ay 7 o'clock. But since napaaga ang preparations namin ay nakarating na kami dito sa 5 star restaurant kung saan namin im-meet si Ulysses.

He will be coming from the main office kaya inexpect ko nang mal-late siya ng kaunti since 7pm pa nga dapat talaga kami magkikita.

As soon as we entered the restaurant, the waitress assisted us papunta sa pinareserved na table ni Ulysses.

The venue looks exquisite, lavish and oozing with sophistication. Tipong kahit sanay akong makakita ng silvers and chandeliers ay namamangha parin ako sa paligid.

We all sat and waited for Ulysses to come, I even texted him at sinabi niyang malapit na siya rito.

While waiting, the waitress came back as she brought as bouquet of flowers na si Ulysses mismo daw ang pumili.

Wow. In fairness sa effort niya tonight. Talagang ibang klase ang paghahanda na ginawa.

My lola Elena loves tulips and baby's breath and I think Ulysses did a good job finding that out even though I didn't say a thing to him about it.

"This person we're meeting seems to be a sweet person" my lola commented as she smiles looking and smelling the flowers.

I smiled back. "Yeah he is"

A couple of minutes after, Ulysses showed up looking so elegant with his black suit. Halata sa mukha niya na pagod siya mula sa work but manage to hide it well, kahit alam ko rin na right after school dumiretso siya kaagad doon kahit na noong una ay gusto na niyang icancel ang appointments niya just for tonight. Pero pinilit ko siyang wag itong alalahanin and he should just do his things, then come afterwards.

As soon as he reached the table, he smiled and greeted my grandparents. He was about to reach my lola's hand to bless nang higitin siya nito para makipag beso, and lolo on the other hand shook hands with him. Si Gray tahimik lang na nakaupo sa may harapan ko.
