Ulysses smirked, closed his eyes and shook his head as he can't hide how happy he is by my remark.

He told the girl that he needs to talk to me, so she hesitantly walk away.

I frowned and pouted. "I wasn't jealous"

He chuckled again showing his bright pretty teeth. Tinakpan pa nya ang kanyang bibig na tila itinatago ang kilig. How did I know? Pulang pula ba naman ang mukha niya.

"I didn't say you were" sabay hila sakin para umakap. He swayed our bodies together and kissed my hair.

"This feels like a deja vu don't you think?" he said reminiscing.

"Is it?" I tried to play innocent.

Magkayakap lang kami sa gilid ng pool hanggang sa mapatingala kaming pareho dahil sa sabay sabay na pagputok ng mga makukulay na fireworks sa madilim na langit.

"This really is the most extravagant graduation party I ever attended" I said smiling from ear to ear while looking up to the bright lit sky.

Nakayakap parin si Ulysses sa akin habang masayang pinagmamasdan ang mga fireworks when I momentarily looked at him and saw him looking back at me lovingly with his soft eyes.

I smiled back at him as I gently closed my eyes as he kissed me under the full moon and colorful sky.

For two months I accompanied Ulysses during his rehabilitation process. At first plano ko lang magstay dito hanggang noong birthday niya. But I realized I don't want to leave him sooner, and kuya reassured me na okay na si papa at nakauwi na ito sa mansion namin.

Kaleid is also there helping my brother in taking care of dad kaya mas lalo akong naging palagay. I know Kaleid is doing his best there in my place. But I shouldn't take his kindness for granted kaya bukas ay babalik na ako doon. My flight will be tonight at exactly midnight.

I finally packed all my things, and headed to Ulysses's room to finally say goodbye.

I nervously and slowly knocked on his bedroom door, when I heard him say "come in" I opened it as slowly as I can as if I'm too scared to enter because this might be the last I can see him.

As soon as I opened door, I saw Ulysses standing in front of his glass wall window looking outside.

He then gently turned around to face me with his soft stare telling me he already knew I am about to say goodbye.

"Did you already finish packing?" he asked as I walk near him and stand not so far away.

I don't want to move any nearer to him because it will be a lot difficult for me to say what I want.

I stood meters away and just looked at his facial features, memorizing each and every detail of his face.

I nodded at his question and smiled. "My flight is at midnight" I informed him.

He just nodded softly, looking a bit hurt yet he tried his best to hide it.

"I just want to say thank you for everything" I sincerely said and tried my best not to look away but it was so hard.
"In the past three years that I've known you, never once I imagine that a moment like this would come. Where it would be so painful to say the word goodbye"

He didn't responded so I continued. "Sa loob ng tatlong taon, I learned a lot and I've become more matured than I am before, from being the childish girl who ruined your party the first time we met to this girl looking at you right now who is much stronger enough to face the reality of life." tumingala ako at tiningnan siya sa mata.
"I've learned a lot of lessons in life, especially what it means to fall in love. Thank you for waiting for me, thank you for not giving up and thank you for being so patient and loving"
