I opened my eyes as I saw a little girl next to me as I knew who she was she was the person I adopted the very last name after her showco "hi showco what's up" I asked.

She then showed me a card because she was deaf but I was blind "hi mom says to get ready for school" she wrote "I am ready" I said.

She just nodded as we walked out of the house and walked to school well our new school.

We walked in as the teacher introduced us "students welcome our new students Katie showco and shoku Nishimiya please make them feel welcomes" he said.

My sister and I took our seats as we sat near some new friends well besides one.

I sat outside with shoku as we passed a ball around as Shoya showed up next to her "hey kid what are you doing" he asked, "excuse me please don't be mean to my sister" I said, "what's it too yah why are you protecting her" he asked, "I'm just trying to save her from a mean bully no one picks on my sister" I said, "Hey why can't she hear" he asked. "She's deaf have you never heard of that like I am blind," I said, "well be quiet I want her not you," he said, "okay whatever you want," I said.

He then kicked her to the ground as her earplugs came out as I just sat there like a good girl like I always was as I let him do whatever he wanted to and that's how her life came for the next few years as I watched in the shadows as everyone told me to stay out of it until we were in high school where we're all grown up.

I was walking to class when I spotted an old familiar person/bully as I was walking "Katie?" I then ran as he chased me.

A little bit later after I ran for what felt like hours until I was on the ground out of breath "Katie are you okay" Miki asked.

She looked up and saw shoyo "get away from her your not welcome come on Katie," Miki said, "wait please," he said.

Miki and I just walked away as shoyo tried to follow.

I was learning next to my sisters when I heard my phone buzz I wonder who got my number as I looked at my phone it was shoyo "come to lunch please" he asked, "okay" I said.

I then put my phone away as I signed to my sister that I would see her later at the sign language centre as I got up for lunch to meet with shoyo.

I came to the lunchroom and spotted a tall boy with black spiky hair with tan skin and black eyes with his white shirt and tie with his khaki pants as I sat and saw someone else with him a new friend perhaps maybe he stopped looking at people with X's "hey Katie I just want to say I'm sorry" he said.

I then wrote on a card "I know you are but I'm not the one you need to say sorry to its shouko you need to say sorry to okay" he read, "what will it take for you to open up again and not be silent anymore" he asked.

I then grew a smile on my face as I wrote down a new card for him "what do you mean get suspended" he asked.

I then gave him another card "you'll see soon shoyo" I wrote.

I then walked away from him and his friend as I went to sign language club as that was where shoyo was headed to return something hehe.

I walked into the club as I spotted shoyo approach my sister and gave back a journal that once belonged to her as they became friends which was nice but their more to this story hehe.

I got up the next morning and raced out the door to see shoyo I wanted to walk with him to school heh with my younger sister but it was payback time hehe.

I walked up to my younger sister as he made the journal fall into the river as he jumped in and Yuzuru took a photo as I smiled "does that make you laugh Katie I haven't seen you smile in a long time" she said.
